13-Year-Old Coco Granderson Launches Yes Day Skincare

Yes Day, a new skincare brand created for teens and tweens, is set to launch on 1 October. Developed under the guidance of Ron Robinson — the cosmetic chemist best known for founding BeautyStat and serving as chemist-in-residence at Hailey Bieber’s Rhode — it joins a growing cohort of brands catering specifically to younger skin.
The brand was founded by 13-year-old Coco Granderson, whose mission is to create products for her generation, known as Gen Zalpha — those born on the cusp of Generation Z and Generation Alpha, roughly between 2010 and 2015. The idea struck when Granderson, then 11, went shopping with her mother. “The shelves were packed with adult products, but nothing felt right for me,” she said. “I knew I wasn’t the only one who wanted skincare that worked but wasn’t too harsh — and could be fun and collectible. So I decided to create it.”
Yes Day takes its name from Granderson’s family tradition, where birthdays come with a “Yes Day” filled with positivity and fun. That joyful ethos is woven into the brand’s approach, pairing Granderson’s youthful vision with Robinson’s decades of expertise. “Skincare should be a happy place, not stressful or confusing,” Robinson said. “Yes Day gives the next generation the right start: products designed for them, not hand-me-down formulas from the adult beauty counter. Yes Day formulas strengthen the skin barrier, calm irritation, and keep skin healthy without harsh ingredients.”
Robinson, who describes himself as an “accidental cosmetic chemist,” brings 35 years of experience to the project, with a career spanning Clinique, Lancôme, and Revlon. He launched BeautyStat Cosmetics in 2019, an innovative line born from the online beauty community he founded in 2008, and now serves as chemist-in-residence at Hailey Bieber’s Rhode.

Yes Day’s debut collection features four skincare essentials powered by the brand’s exclusive Yes Magic complex, a blend of probiotics, moisture magnets, and antioxidants aimed at balancing delicate skin while addressing breakouts, irritation, and dullness. Products include:
- Float Foam Face Cleanser: A gentle, barrier-balancing cleanser that foams up to remove excess oil, dirt, and buildup.
- Whip Dream Moisturizer: A fluffy gel cream that locks in moisture and boosts glow.
- Inner Beam Hydration Mist: An antioxidant-rich mist to refresh and hydrate on the go.
- Lip Sweetie Lip Mask: A softening lip treatment with a shiny finish.
Dermatologist-approved and safe for all skin types and tones, the line is free from harsh acids and harmful chemicals, tested on tweens aged 10 and up, and designed to encourage healthy, confidence-building skincare habits. “I made Yes Day for people my age who want glowing skin without all the extra steps,” said Granderson. “It’s skincare that boosts your mood as much as your glow.”
The collection is now available for pre-order at yesdayworld.com, priced from $15 to $32.
