Amare Launches Skin to Mind

Skin to Mind Products

Mental wellness company Amare is bringing its self-care philosophy to skincare with the launch of Skin to Mind. Grounded in the emerging science of the skin–brain connection, the brand explores how skin functions as a sensory organ — one that reflects and responds to emotional stress.

Described as skincare built on neuroscience, the range is designed to address visible concerns while supporting emotional wellbeing. Inspired by the idea that skin acts as the body’s third brain, the formulas aim to promote resilience, radiance, and a sense of inner calm.

“The Skin to Mind collection bridges the powerful connection between skin and mind with proprietary neurotech and gold standard skincare ingredients,” Marie Swisher, CMO of Amare, told BeautyNewsDaily. “The result is innovative products clinically proven to deliver visible skincare results, while evoking positive emotional responses.”

Skin to Mind is founded on the idea that the skin and brain are in constant communication, much like the gut-brain or heart-brain axis. By stimulating the skin’s sensory network, the formulas are designed to soothe surface-level stress signals and activate what the brand calls “bliss signals,” delivering benefits that can be both seen and felt.

Skin to Mind Serums

The brand debuts with three products:

  • OptiMIST Awaken + Glow Facial Mist ($55.95): Designed to energise the complexion, this ultra-light mist delivers a hit of hydration to refresh dull, tired skin. It features SeaMist Ferment to help defend against stress-induced changes and smooth uneven texture, and taurine to revitalise. Mamaku extract, derived from native New Zealand black ferns, delivers intense hydration and a plumping effect, while Myoline, a botanical from watercress, softens the look of expression lines. Each spray is enhanced by the brand’s proprietary Energy Neuroscent technology, developed to uplift mood and promote emotional balance.
  • NeuDay Brighten + Revitalize Serum ($94.95): A multitasking morning serum that helps build skin resilience and improve radiance, NeuDay is powered by HuG Cell Technology — a proprietary blend of Rhodiola plant cells and L-theanine — to help skin adapt to daily stress. Brightening vitamin C, barrier-supporting B3 (niacinamide), and plant-based polypeptide-2 help even tone, firm, and smooth the skin. Meadowfoam seed oil locks in moisture and enhances absorption, leaving skin brighter and stronger.
  • NeuNight Restore + Renew Serum ($105.95): This rich cream-serum is formulated to work overnight, supporting the skin’s natural repair cycle. HuG Cell Technology helps reduce visible signs of stress and build cellular resilience, as SeaMist Ferment strengthens skin defences. Bakuchiol, a plant-derived retinol alternative, smooths fine lines without irritation. Cloudberry seed oil replenishes essential fatty acids, and a hydrating complex of hyaluronic acid, polyglutamic acid and panthenol boosts elasticity and barrier strength. The Bliss Neuroscent blend rounds out the formula with a calming scent designed to support restful sleep.

“After using our serums for just 4 weeks, 100% of participants showed measured improvement in fine lines and EEG testing showed mood-boosting benefits like enhanced focus, clarity, and a greater sense of wellbeing,” explained Swisher. “These results affirm what we believe at our core: that everything is connected, and that by speaking skin’s language, we can evolve skincare’s capabilities from simply impacting how our skin looks to how we feel.”

The debut range is vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without over 2,700 potentially disruptive ingredients, including parabens, PEGs, synthetic fragrances, harsh surfactants, and more.
