Biome by Corinthia London: Inside the Hotel’s Reimagined Spa
Corinthia London’s spa has had major glow-up. The five-star Whitehall hotel is ditching its long-running ESPA Life to make way for Biome by Corinthia London, opening this month.
Spanning 3,300 square metres across four floors, Biome retains the spa’s existing facilities — including an indoor swimming pool, vitality pool, glass amphitheatre sauna, steam room, experience showers, and 17 private treatment pods — while introducing a more intuitive approach to care. The space has been rethought to feel calm and accessible, with wellbeing shaped as much by the environment as by the treatments themselves. According to Corinthia, the rebrand is “inspired by the rhythms of nature and guided by contemporary science”.
The spa’s defining feature is a curated heat and water journey, designed to warm the body, release tension, and support freer movement. Through a considered mix of gentle hydrotherapy, cleansing steam, and dry heat, the experience encourages circulation and ease, setting the body up for a deeper sense of restoration.
As part of the relaunch, Biome has teamed up with a handful of specialist brand partners. British botanical brand Wildsmith Skin delivers nature-led therapies, while Augustinus Bader introduces its science-driven approach to skin health through targeted facial treatments. Movement is handled by AMP Fit, which will provide personal and small-group training supported by Technogym, BLK BOX, and Peloton equipment.
For London locals (or frequent visitors), the Corinthia offers half- or full-day experiences and a range of packages that include fitness, skincare rituals, and restorative treatments. There are also pricey but tempting ‘Mind, Body, and Soul’ membership packages: £2,500 for three months, £4,000 for six, or £7,500 for a full year.
In a city packed with wellness options, Biome feels like the sophisticated sweet spot: discreet luxury with legit results, perfect for busy professionals needing a quick recharge.
