Christy Turlington Burns Is Lancôme’s Newest Global Ambassador
Christy Turlington Burns has been named Lancôme’s newest Global Ambassador.
The supermodel joins the brand’s roster of ambassadors — which includes Julia Roberts, Isabella Rossellini, and Gen Z favourite Olivia Rodrigo — and will make her debut fronting two of Lancôme’s key launches: Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation and Rénergie Collagen Lift-Xtend Cream.
A fashion icon and one of the defining faces of the 1980s supermodel era, Turlington Burns has appeared on more than 500 magazine covers and starred in campaigns for some of the world’s most influential fashion houses. In recent years, however, her focus has shifted away from the runway and towards more purpose-driven work. Now 57, she balances her long-standing modelling legacy with roles as a philanthropist, nonprofit leader, accomplished author, and wellness advocate — a progression that has increasingly shaped the partnerships she chooses to take on.
“Lancôme represents a legacy of French elegance and progress that has always resonated with me,” says Turlington Burns. “I’ve long admired the brand’s dedication to celebrating women at every stage of life and their commitment to meaningful values. As someone who believes deeply in supporting women’s health and well-being, I’m honoured to join a family that shares that vision and uses beauty as a platform for positive change.”
For Lancôme, the appointment signals more than star power. As the brand continues to respond to a market where consumers are paying closer attention to values, longevity, and credibility, Turlington Burns brings a depth of experience that speaks across generations.
The signing also marks the first major ambassadorship under Vania Lacascade, who took on the role of Lancôme Global Brand President in July 2025.
“We are thrilled to welcome Christy into our collective,” says Lacascade. “Her conscious optimism, sense of purpose, and commitment to supporting women across generations perfectly embody Lancôme’s values.”
