Derm-Backed Fig.1 Beauty Lands at Sephora
A new edit of dermatologist-developed skincare has dropped at Sephora as Fig.1 Beauty debuts a tightly curated range of high-performance formulas.
The brand, co-founded by dermatologist Dr. Courtney Rubin and entrepreneur Kimmy Scotti, with product development led by dermatologist Dr. Panta Rouhani Schaffer, centres its offering on clinically tested formulas and ingredient transparency. Each product is labelled with active ingredient percentages and expected timelines for visible results — an approach designed to build consumer trust in a category often criticised for vague claims.
“Launching on sephora.com allows us to bring our defining level of scientific rigor to a broader audience, making dermatologist-developed skincare more affordable and accessible without compromising safety or results,” said Dr. Schaffer.
The Sephora launch arrives amid growing demand for results-driven skincare that sits between clinical credibility and prestige positioning. Fig.1’s range is priced between $26 and $66 (£20–£51), with refill options available for most products. According to co-founder Scotti, the intention is to challenge assumptions around price and performance in the category.
“We built Fig.1 to prove that effective skincare shouldn’t require prestige prices,” Scotti said. “Many luxury skincare products cost hundreds of dollars without delivering better results.”
The debut lineup covers daily essentials and targeted treatments, including a retinol step-up system, comprising 0.15%, 0.3%, and 0.6%, designed to help skin acclimate gradually. There is also a vitamin C serum aimed at improving skin tone within four weeks and a ceramide-based moisturiser focused on barrier support. Additional products are included to target pigmentation, fine lines, and eye-area fatigue.
Beyond the formulas, Fig.1 is a Clean + Planet Aware brand, with most products designed for longevity, featuring a refillable system intended to reduce environmental waste and encourage consistent, long-term routine building.
Fig.1 Beauty is now available online at sephora.com, with UK customers able to shop the brand at cultbeauty.co.uk.
