Dossier, the brand best known for its cult-favourite fragrance dupes, has released its debut celebrity fragrance, an original scent created in partnership with MGK.

Lost Americana is a modern, genderless composition inspired by MGK’s latest album of the same name. It opens with incense, almond, and pink pepper before unfolding into a spiced heart of nutmeg, myrrh, and cinnamon. At its base, vetiver, patchouli, and suede are warmed by vanilla and dark chocolate, leaving a seductive gourmand finish.

Founded in 2018, Dossier set out to challenge the conventions of perfumery by making the artistry of French fragrance accessible to all. Rooted in Grasse, the global capital of perfume, the brand committed to transparent, fairly priced formulations. Its debut line, Dossier Impressions, reimagined designer icons at 70–90% less than traditional retail prices, starting at £29 ($29). In 2023, the brand expanded with Originals, its first collection of wholly original scents, marking a move beyond its dupe-inspired beginnings.

Lost Americana by Dossier x MGK is available now at Dossier’s NoLita flagship in New York, as well as online at trydossier.co.uk in the UK and dossier.co in the US, priced at £44 ($49).
