Grimoire Launches with ‘After-Fun’ Skincare

Grimoire Skincare Vanity Monday

Grimoire, a self-described queer-led skincare brand founded by Vincent Branchesi and Karim Fadel, has launched with a line of ‘after-fun’ products designed to revive and restore skin from the effects of real life: stress, sun, jet lag, and late nights.

Created for men whose grooming habits may be less than perfect, each product pairs playful textures with high-potency encapsulated ingredients to deliver visible, clinically backed results — helping to pick up the slack when your skincare routine falls short.

At Grimoire’s foundation is the belief that luxury skincare shouldn’t be exclusive, but rather accessible, joyful, and rooted in real life. To make the dream a reality, Branchesi and Fadel partnered with Capsum, a French innovation lab known for pioneering Microfluidic Technology used by brands like Chanel and Elizabeth Arden. The lab’s encapsulation method suspends active ingredients in oil-based capsules that burst on contact with skin, preserving potency and enhancing performance.

“At its core, Grimoire is skincare for real life. We created products that are accessible and can keep up with our lives without compromising on efficacy, values, or the joy that comes with skincare rituals,” said Branchesi. “Too much of the skincare market still ignores the way people actually live and who they are. Grimoire was born from the busy lifestyles my partner Karim and I both share — it’s skincare that keeps up with you, without sacrificing on results, values or fun.”

Instead of following the playbook for traditional men’s skincare, Grimoire leans into self-expression, pleasure, and community. The brand launches with four products:

  • Vanity Monday: if your skin has been through it, consider this cooling serum your Monday morning reset. It’s designed to fake eight hours of sleep and a weekend of good decisions. Micro supergreens (rich in vitamin C) work on texture and radiance, while wild indigo helps regulate skin stress. Sea buckthorn adds a nourishing glow, and lemon myrtle calms irritation and tightens pores.
  • Nightmare Away: for those who don’t sleep much, but don’t want their skin to show it, this overnight cream delivers essential comfort, sealing in moisture while micro supergreens fight off stress and damage. Lavender calms, shea butter nourishes, and helianthus annuus extract reinforces the barrier so your skin wakes up looking well-rested, even if you didn’t.
  • Beach Guise: whether it’s sunburn, windburn, or just a rough day, this soothing serum is your skin’s safe space. Beach Guise calms, hydrates, and visibly reduces redness on contact. Micro supergreens and wild indigo extract deliver antioxidant repair, while bisabolol, gotu kola, and beta-glucan team up to soothe and support stressed-out skin.
  • Eye Roll: for mornings that hit too hard, this plush, do-it-all eye serum smooths, plumps, and brightens in one go. Acetyl hexapeptide-1 helps relax fine lines, caffeine tackles puffiness and dark circles, and tamarind seed gum hydrates and softens. Micro supergreens round things out with antioxidant protection and a hit of glow.

Sustainability plays a central role in how Grimoire formulates its products and sources its ingredients. Many of its botanicals are cultivated through indoor precision farming, and its water, called Solar Water, is a renewable, desalinated source purified via solar-powered reverse osmosis. All products are vegan, cruelty-free, and tested on over a hundred skin tones and textures to ensure inclusive performance.

“Clean, sustainable beauty should be both high-performance and high-integrity,” said Fadel. “We formulate without fillers, vague synthetics, or marketing fluff, just clinically validated ingredients that actually do something for your skin.”

Grimoire’s debut collection is now available to customers in both the UK and US at grimoirenyc.com, with prices starting at £42 ($55).
