Luxury Skincare Brand Sapphire Dust

Sapphire Dust is a new cosmeceutical brand aiming to bridge the gap between science and luxury skincare. Founded by Dr. Dayal Mukherjee, an aesthetic physician based in London’s Harley Street, the brand has launched exclusively at Harrods.

Named after its innovative SaphirRegen activation complex, Sapphire Dust is the first skincare brand to harness sapphire microparticles as an active ingredient. Extracted from the precious gemstone, these particles provide gentle yet effective exfoliation.

At just 29 years old, Dr. Mukherjee, a surgeon with accolades from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and numerous publications in top medical journals, launched his boutique cosmetic practice in Harley Street. His extensive experience in facial rejuvenation and minimally invasive procedures highlighted a significant gap between the efficacy of clinical-grade skincare and procedures and the limitations of over-the-counter cosmetics. Driven by this disparity, he sought to create a bridge between professional and consumer skincare by offering innovative, effective, and accessible skincare solutions.

After eight years of dedicated scientific research and collaboration with a prominent Swiss laboratory, Dr. Mukherjee developed Sapphire Dust. The brand’s philosophy asserts that effective skincare should not only be luxurious but also straightforward, promoting the idea that beautiful skin equates to healthy skin. Its foundations rest on four scientific principles: cell renewal, deep hydration, antioxidation, and restoration.

The flagship product, Skin Activator, features the advanced SaphirRegen activation complex. Infused with sustainably sourced sapphire microparticles, this complex enhances exfoliation, brightens the skin, and optimises the efficacy of other skincare products like serums and moisturisers. Clinical studies show that 86% of participants noticed a smoother skin texture after just one application, with the same percentage reporting enhanced radiance after one month.

The brand’s debut collection, priced between £95 and £200, also includes the Illuminating Serum and Time Control Cream, both enriched with the brand’s other patented complex, Saphir-5-8. This innovative formula combines a unique cocktail of peptides, including the anti-wrinkle hexapeptide-8 and glutathione, with sapphire microparticles and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid for enhanced absorption, hydration, and anti-aging benefits.
