Founded by Natalie Viklund and Marie Hansen, the brand takes its name from the Old Norse word for ‘life’ or ‘eternity’ reflecting its commitment to long-term skin health and wellness. At the heart of AEVI lies a dedication to holistic skincare, blending natural ingredients with wellness practices to create sensitive skincare products for everyone. “At AEVI, our philosophy is centred on the belief that skincare should be gentle yet effective,” says co-founder Natalie Viklund. “We prioritize soothing, hydrating, and strengthening the skin barrier to promote natural radiance and vitality.”

Pronounced a-vee, AEVI’s approach is rooted in minimalism, offering straightforward products made with high-quality ingredients, free from fillers, chemicals, fragrances, and unnecessary preservatives. “We collaborate with expert natural formulators and personally test each product to ensure it meets our high standards of efficacy and safety,” explains co-founder Marie Hansen. This rigorous testing ensures that AEVI’s formulations are both dermatologically tested and clinically proven to deliver visible results without compromising on gentleness.

The product range comprises nine essential items for the face and body, including the Nourishing Face Oil, Hyaluronic Face Serum, All-Over Balm, Awakening Hand & Body Wash, and Eye Elixir. Our favourite product is the unscented and oil-free Face Serum. Formulated with plant-based hyaluronic acid and sea oak seaweed, this lightweight serum absorbs instantly to deliver a hit of hydration. Aloe vera is included to accelerate healing, soothe irritation, and brighten skin, while snow mushroom helps to calm the skin and retain water. We also love the All-Over Balm, a vegan healing balm packed with vitamin E, shea butter, and jojoba, sunflower, and castor seed oils to soothe, nourish, and protect.
