A new science-led skincare brand has launched across North America and Europe with a clear mission: to merge clinical efficacy with advanced skin support. TheSolveMD is a next-gen skincare brand founded on in-house scientific innovation, bringing together expertise in surgery, engineering, chemistry, and strategic brand leadership.

The brand’s cross-functional team enables end-to-end innovation: a model that sets TheSolveMD apart from competitors that rely on third-party laboratories for formulation and testing. The multidisciplinary team includes Chief Medical Officer Dr. Peyman Solieman, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon; Chief Strategy Officer Portia Dieguez, a former McKinsey strategist; Chief Chemist AJ Addae, a PhD fellow and formulation expert; and Chief Engineering Officer Frederik Skovgaard, a patent-holding innovator in smart skincare technologies.

Supporting this model, TheSolveMD owns and operates its own laboratories and engineering facilities, allowing for full control over product development — from concept through to formulation. This integrated infrastructure enables the creation of proprietary ingredients, patented technologies, and specialised delivery systems that prioritise both performance and skin compatibility.

The brand’s debut line, SunsolveMD by TheSolveMD, is a mineral-based SPF collection that positions sun protection not as an afterthought, but as the foundation of an effective routine, combining broad-spectrum defence with visible, clinically supported results.

Each formula is powered by the brand’s proprietary ZnO+ Mineral Care Complex, which combines micronised zinc oxide, barrier-strengthening niacinamide, and soothing ingredients such as allantoin and bisabolol. Added phytoplankton extract helps to repair visible UV damage while supporting overall skin resilience.

Alongside its launch, TheSolveMD announced Swedish model and entrepreneur Elsa Hosk as SunsolveMD’s debut Global Brand Ambassador. “I’ve never been able to find a sunscreen that truly met my needs — until I used SunsolveMD,” Hosk said in a statement. “Growing up in Sweden with fair, sensitive skin, I’d burn so easily. Tinted Sunscreen

ZnO+ AntiOxtint, SunsolveMD’s tinted sunscreen, blends mineral SPF 50 with light, buildable coverage for a naturally even, soft-matte finish. Infused with the brand’s ZnO+ Mineral Care Complex and the antioxidant-rich Dermo-Vitaplex Complex, the formula delivers hydration, blue light protection, and visible tone correction, making it especially effective for melasma-prone or uneven skin.
