M&S Just Dropped a Skincare Range Designed Specifically for Teen Skin
In the last year, we’ve witnessed a massive wave of new skincare brands catering solely to young skin. Whether it’s a direct response to the ‘Sephora Kids’ phenomenon or the general rise in barrier-first beauty, the industry is shifting. New brands are swapping out heavy-duty anti-ageing creams and high-strength acids for gentle formulas focused purely on skin health. Now, one British retail giant is getting in on the action.
M&S has just unveiled Fresh Elements, a new range specifically designed for ages 12+. The collection is a direct answer to a skincare-aware generation who want the aesthetic of a cool routine without the irritation.
The eight-product lineup aims to bridge the gap between the shelfie-worthy products teens want and the gentle efficacy their parents feel comfortable with. Dermatologically approved, the range prioritises hydration and skin barrier support over unnecessary complexity. It’s all about building healthy habits from day one, using age-appropriate skincare that supports rather than overwhelms.
For the first step of a routine, the range offers two cleansers. The Fresh Elements Foaming Cleanser is a win for oily or combination skin, using Provitamin B5 and allantoin to keep things calm while it clarifies. If skin is on the drier side, the Fresh Elements Jelly Cleanser is the way to go — it gently lifts oil and makeup without that stripped or tight feeling. To keep complexions in check, the Fresh Elements Balancing Toner uses mandelic acid and willow bark extract to gently exfoliate and help minimise the appearance of pores. For a concentrated boost of glow, the Fresh Elements Facial Serum mixes hyaluronic acid with cica extract to soothe stressed-out skin, while the Fresh Elements Balancing Facial Mist is perfect for an instant hit of niacinamide and algae extract when you’re on the move.
Moisturisation is handled by two very different textures depending on what the skin needs. The Fresh Elements Light Gel Moisturiser is breathable and non-greasy, ideal for skin prone to dehydration, while the Fresh Elements Rich Hydrating Moisturiser uses squalane and urea for a dewier, smoother finish. And for those inevitable breakouts? The Fresh Elements Blemish Rescue Gel uses salicylic acid to decongest pores, but adds panthenol to help support the skin barrier.
Fresh Elements is now available at select M&S stores across the UK, as well as online at marksandspencer.com, with prices ranging from £9.50 to £12.50.
