NUXE Launches First-Ever Hair Care Line

Leading French pharmacy beauty brand Nuxe has expanded into hair care with the launch of Hair Prodigieux.

Inspired by its bestselling oil, Huile Prodigieuse, the new haircare line embodies Nuxe’s commitment to natural cosmetology and the use of skin-nurturing botanical oils. Huile Prodigieuse is a multi-purpose dry oil enriched with seven precious oils, including argan, sweet almond, macadamia, hazelnut, borage, tsubaki, and camellia. Considered by many to be France’s most beloved beauty oil to date, Huile Prodigieuse nourishes and protects the skin while leaving behind a beautiful scent.

The Hair Prodigieux range provides a complete four-step routine tailored for all hair types, prioritising intense shine, deep repair, and a rich sensory experience. It carries the same signature scent as Huile Prodigieuse—a floral blend of orange blossom, magnolia, and vanilla—transforming haircare into a multi-sensory experience. At the heart of this range is fermented pink camellia oil, which has been revered for centuries by Japanese geishas for its deeply nourishing properties. Its unique fermentation process, which leverages the natural action of yeast, enhances the oil’s potency with minimal energy consumption, producing a supercharged oil concentrated in active molecules and rich in glycolipids, known for their powerful repairing properties. The oil’s refined texture also allows for optimal penetration into the hair fibres, maximising its benefits.

The first step in the Hair Prodigieux routine is The Mask, a nourishing pre-shampoo treatment that prepares the hair by saturating it with nutrients through a blend of fermented pink camellia oil, castor oil, and jojoba oil. This oil-based formula is particularly effective on dry hair and can be left on for up to 30 minutes for enhanced repair.

Following the pre-treatment is the High Shine Shampoo, a gentle cleanser that removes impurities while preserving the hair’s natural moisture balance. Its sulphate-free formula features four naturally derived surfactants that ensure effective cleansing without harshness, leaving hair shiny and silky. Next is the silicone-free High Shine Conditioner, which nourishes every strand to ensure hair is smooth, strengthened, and instantly detangled.

Completing the four-part routine is the Intense Nourishing Leave-In Cream, a repairing treatment that infuses hair with lasting moisture and protection. Formulated with fermented pink camellia oil and quinoa extract, this cream aids in styling by smoothing and strengthening hair while offering thermal protection against heat up to 220°C.

Adhering to Laboratoire Nuxe’s stringent clean beauty charter, all products in the Hair Prodigieux collection are vegan, silicone-free, made in France, and boast at least 93% naturally derived ingredients.
