Sisley Opens First London Spa
Luxury beauty brand Sisley has opened its first day spa in the UK, nestled in the heart of London’s Mayfair. Maison Sisley London embodies the spirit of the French brand, providing a unique destination for those wanting to immerse themselves in the world of Sisley and Hair Rituel by Sisley.
This new location marks the 16th Sisley Maison globally, following the brand’s expansion from the inaugural Maison Sisley Paris launched in 2017. Other locations include Madrid, New York, Milan, Shanghai, Vienna, and Lisbon.
Adorned with artworks by European artists, the new maison has been designed to feel like a home away from home. Reflecting the artistic inspiration of the d’Ornano family, every aspect of its interior, specifically chosen by Isabelle and Christine d’Ornano, adds unique character to the space.
Inside the maison, a boutique and a relaxing salon space complement four treatment rooms that offer tailored massage techniques and treatments for the face, body, hair, and scalp.
The boutique provides access to the full range of Sisley and Hair Rituel by Sisley products. A large glossy white sideboard showcases Sisley’s skincare lines, while two perfume bars display the brand’s luxury perfumes opposite a large wall dedicated to the brand’s rich makeup offerings.
Adjoining the boutique is a specialised zone for Hair Rituel by Sisley’s professional hair diagnosis. This area features the signature capillary-diagnostic, powered by the Sisley Hair Rituel Analyser, a device equipped with an advanced optical sensor that magnifies the scalp at 110x and the hair fibre at 900x. The device meticulously analyses both the scalp and hair fibre, categorising the analysis into two distinct parts: scalp analysis and hair analysis. Scalp analysis includes assessing the uniformity and sensitivity of the scalp, the condition of the pores, hydration levels, and hair density. Hair analysis focuses on the fibre diameter and overall condition of the hair fibre. Utilising the insights from this comprehensive diagnostic, and guided by expert questioning, Hair Rituel by Sisley’s advisers craft a personalised haircare regimen designed to effectively address each customer’s specific hair concerns.
Sisley Maison’s salon offers a serene setting where customers can enjoy a moment of calm with a cup of tea. It is also here that clients engage in a pre-treatment consultation with a Sisley advisor, ensuring a tailored and results-led experience.
At the heart of the maison are the treatment rooms, three of which are dedicated to facial and body treatments featuring several Sisley rituals. These rituals are suitable for all skin types, ages, and genders. Lasting between 30 and 90 minutes, treatments range from simple enhancements to daily skincare routines—such as moisturising, energising, cleansing, and sculpting—to more sophisticated skincare elevations like the Sisleÿa La Cure Anti-Aging Treatment and the Supremÿa Anti-Aging Treatment.
Although treatments exclusively utilise Sisley products, the maison has also incorporated Jet Peel and LED technology to enhance results. These non-invasive treatments significantly boost performance and amplify product efficacy. The Jet Peel technology provides deep cleansing, removing dead cells to refine the complexion and enhance radiance, while the eight-colour LED technology targets improvements in complexion, skin tone, firmness, and visible signs of aging.
The fourth treatment room is specially designed for hair and scalp care, offering a variety of treatments including Hair Rituel by Sisley’s esteemed Supreme Regenerating & Restructuring Treatment. This exclusive 90-minute session combines expert massage techniques with Sisley’s distinctive application methods. Developed from insights by leading specialists, the treatment includes a choreographed series of smoothing, massaging, draining, tapping, and enveloping movements, all enhanced by warm towels and steam baths. It incorporates ancient Shiatsu massage techniques that target pressure points along the head, neck, shoulders, and upper back, providing deep relaxation. This luxurious treatment not only soothes but also rebalances the scalp and revitalises the hair, leaving it luxuriously dense and shiny.
Additionally, four 60-minute Essential Treatments are available, each designed to target specific hair needs, including density, purity, colour, and nutrition. These treatments use Hair Rituel by Sisley’s technically innovative, high-performance products in combination with a series of massage strokes and movements targeting acupressure points. This method enhances the efficacy of the key ingredients, ensuring immediate and visible results.
