Smooch Body Makes Its UK Debut
Barely two years after its launch in Australia, Smooch Body will arrive in the UK this September, exclusively at Boots. The brand will debut with an expansive rollout across all 900 stores, a rare scale for such a new entrant and one that signals the UK’s growing appetite for affordable, personality-driven fragrance.
Founded in 2023 by Luisa Giansiracusa, the brand has quickly cultivated a devoted following among Gen Z and millennials in its native Australia. With a positioning that blends nostalgia with accessibility, the TikTok-viral range found momentum for its reimagining of the ’90s body mist.
“Since our launch in 2023, our highly engaged UK community has been asking for us to launch in the UK, and we’re proud to finally announce this news!” said Giansiracusa. “Boots is the perfect home for our UK launch and we can’t wait to see how the community discovers Smooch in their own way. We want to be the fragrance you throw in your bag, take everywhere, and spritz whenever you want to feel confident.”
Smooch Body follows a number of cult Australian brands that have entered the UK market in 2025, including cosmetic brand MCoBeauty that launched in July and bodycare brand Ciroa that launched just this month.
The brand launches with five Fragrance Mists, each priced at £19 ($24). Made in Australia, they are designed to be lightweight yet long-lasting, with an emphasis on portability, layering, and self-expression. Inspired by personality and mood, the scents are:
- Ellie: raspberry, exotic pear, and soft musk
- Janey: roasted almond, creamy vanilla, and coconut
- Pip: bergamot, grapefruit, and cedarwood
- Nikki: jasmine, sandalwood, and sheer vanilla
- Ria: mango, grapefruit, and warm musk
Two new scents are set to join the range in October 2025.
