S’Young Group Acquires RéVive Skincare
Chinese beauty giant, S’Young Group, has acquired luxury skincare brand RéVive from Tengram Capital Partners. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but this acquisition marks another strategic step in S’Young Group’s growing portfolio of premium international beauty and skincare brands.
RéVive Skincare, founded in 1997 by Dr. Gregory Brown, is renowned for its scientifically driven approach to anti-aging skincare. The brand has cultivated a loyal following due to its high-performance products, which blend bio-renewal technology with luxury formulations. Dr. Brown, along with the current management team, will continue to lead the brand, ensuring its independent operations are maintained, as confirmed by CEO Elana Drell Szyfer.
Tengram Capital Partners, which acquired RéVive from Shiseido in 2017, oversaw the brand’s growth over the past several years. As reported by WWD, under Tengram’s ownership, RéVive saw sales rise from $15 million at the time of acquisition to an estimated $30 million in 2022. The brand’s continued appeal to a high-end consumer base has positioned it as an attractive asset in the competitive skincare market.
S’Young Group’s acquisition of RéVive is part of its broader strategy to expand its luxury offerings in the beauty and personal care sector. In 2022, the Group acquired the French luxury skincare brand Evidens de Beauté and took a minority stake in Pier Augé. With its revenue recently estimated at over $600 million, S’Young Group has quickly become a key player in the global beauty market, leveraging its expertise in both e-commerce and brand management.
