The Latest Drop at Ulta Beauty? Coffee
There’s a new heavy hitter entering Ulta Beauty, but it’s not a cream blush, a gourmand scent, or even a serum. It’s coffee.
Korean collagen-infused beverage brand Clöud Café is launching at Ulta and making history as the first coffee and matcha brand to join the Wellness by Ulta Beauty lineup. It’s also the brand’s first entry into a major beauty retailer, moving beyond its roots in direct-to-consumer channels and select Asian marketplaces.
Clöud Café is the brainchild of Olive Kim, co-founder and former CEO of The Crème Shop. Known as the ‘Original K-Beauty Connoisseur’, Kim is not only an expert in what makes skin glow, but she’s also a dedicated coffee and tea enthusiast. Her inspiration for Clöud Café came from her own high-energy lifestyle, which had her working from sunrise to sunset and fuelling up during frequent business trips to South Korea. She frequented the country’s most charming, innovative cafés and realised that the same level of care we put into our topical skincare should be applied to what we consume.
Kim is a firm believer that wellness is a holistic cycle, where your daily habits and consumption are reflected in your physical health. To bring that approach to life, Clöud Café centres every drink around its signature ingredient, marine collagen, helping to bridge the gap between your caffeine habit and your skincare needs. This skin-loving active is paired with performance-driven blends designed to support different wellness goals.
Need to survive back-to-back meetings? Black Coffee combines a multivitamin blend for energy with L-theanine for improved focus. Feeling sluggish? Strawberry Matcha Latte serves up vitamin C and probiotics for gut health, while Royal Milk Tea brings in vitamin D3 and probiotics to keep immunity and metabolism in check.
For a guilt-free treat, Strawberry Milk Zero is enriched with vitamin C and vitamin D to support skin and bone health, while Hot Choco Zero utilises zinc and multivitamins to support metabolism. And because this is an Ulta debut, the brand is also dropping two exclusive new flavours: Ube Latte, featuring glutathione to support liver detox and promote brighter skin, alongside vitamin C for antioxidant protection and immune support; and Pistachio Matcha Latte, with NMN to support metabolism and cognitive function, plus vitamin B3 to help convert nutrients into balanced energy.
Clöud Café is now available online at ulta.com, and will launch in 400 Ulta Beauty stores from 29 March.
