Timebeam Expands Into Suncare With a Two-Step System

Sunbeam SPF 50

If there’s one skincare rule all dermatologists agree on, it’s that daily sunscreen is non-negotiable. But according to Timebeam founder Dr. Lamees Hamdan, truly effective sun protection might require a more layered approach. That philosophy is now driving Timebeam’s expansion into suncare with the launch of a two-step system designed to deliver UV defence from both the inside and out.

“I am so excited for Timebeam to enter the suncare space,” says Dr. Hamdan. “It felt like the natural next step for the brand, given our inner-outer approach to skin longevity.”

Launched in May 2025, Timebeam is leaning hard into the longevity science trend, targeting a Gen Z audience that’s more interested in preventative cellular health than traditional anti-aging fixes. Founded by Dr. Hamdan — an integrative medical doctor and longevity expert — the brand blends topical skincare with ingestible supplements to support skin health at a cellular level. Its philosophy centres on reducing oxidative stress, supporting cellular repair, and maintaining hydration balance through formulas that work both inside and out, anchored in the kind of daily rituals that already exist in beauty routines.

And now that brand philosophy is extending to one of the most essential pillars of skin longevity: consistent sun protection.

The brand’s latest drop — Sunbeam SPF 50 and Sol Mate Sun Gummies — is built on Timebeam’s inside-out approach to skin health. “Sun protection is one of the most important daily rituals for skin longevity, and true sun protection habits go beyond topical SPF application,” says Dr. Hamdan.

Together, the products create a two-step approach to daily sun habits. “UV exposure isn’t just about wrinkles; it’s also the damage it causes to your cells’ DNA. So, I created a more effective double layer of sun protection, which I call a sun protection habit (SPH).”

Sunbeam SPF 50 ($38) is a lightweight mineral sunscreen that delivers broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection. A blend of green tea extract and astaxanthin keeps environmental stressors at bay, while niacinamide and vitamin C pull double duty to brighten your complexion while you wear it.

Timebeam Sol Mate Sun Gummies

For an added layer of defence, Sol Mate Sun Gummies ($30) are formulated to complement topical sunscreen. Think of them as your edible SPF backup plan. They’re powered by Polypodium leucotomos (PLE), a tropical fern extract known in derm circles for its ability to bolster the skin’s defence against free radicals, along with vitamins C and E to help nourish and strengthen the skin barrier.

“SPF is great, but it isn’t perfect. The majority of us don’t apply enough and don’t reapply, so UV rays do get through to our skin. Sol Mate Sun Gummies are a natural protective UV shield that works on the skin from the inside out, to help neutralize the damage UV rays cause,” says Dr. Hamdan.

The Sunbeam SPF 50 and Sol Mate Sun Gummies are available now at ulta.com and timebeam.com. British shoppers will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on the duo, as Timebeam has yet to launch in the UK.
