Tower 28 Sets New Standard for Sensitive Skin

Tower 28 Skincare Seals

Tower 28 is officially the best beauty brand for sensitive skin, having received approval seals from three major organisations across an entire skincare collection — the first beauty brand ever to achieve this.

The brand’s award-winning Save Our Skin (SOS) skincare line has recently earned approval from the National Psoriasis Foundation and National Rosacea Society, adding to its existing National Eczema Association seal. It’s also the only beauty brand to fully adhere to the National Eczema Association’s Ingredient Guidelines across both skincare and colour cosmetics, ensuring every product is free from all known skin irritants.

“As someone with sensitive skin, I know how important it is to trust the products you use every day,” says Amy Liu, founder and CEO of Tower 28. “The NEA [National Eczema Association], psoriasis, and rosacea seals represent more than just that, they’re a promise from us to you that we’re putting in the legwork and checking every single box to make sure our formulas are gentle, effective, and safe for all skin types.”

Building on these milestones, Liu has also been appointed to the National Eczema Association’s board of directors. In this role, she joins a team dedicated to supporting the 31 million Americans living with eczema, helping to shape strategies, policies, and initiatives to improve their quality of life.

“We are pleased that Tower 28 has received the NRS [National Rosacea Society] Seal of Acceptance for its latest collection of skincare products,” said Andrew Huff, President and Executive Director of the NRS. “The Seal is a sign to rosacea sufferers that the products have been rigorously tested and found to be unlikely to cause irritation or a flare-up of signs or symptoms.”

Tower 28’s SOS line is, according to the brand, ‘an intentionally basic skincare routine to support your skin at its most sensitive.’ Free from irritants, fragrances, essential oils, alcohol, and so-called ‘pore-cloggers’, the line has quickly become a go-to for those looking to soothe and repair sensitive or sensitised skin. The range includes the best-selling Rescue Spray — currently the #1 toner at Sephora, with one sold every 11 seconds globally — alongside the Gel Cleanser, Recovery Cream, Intensive Rescue Serum, and LipSoftie Lip Treatment.

“After in-depth testing and a thorough review by a panel of board-certified dermatologists and rheumatologists, we’re excited that five products from Tower 28 have earned the coveted NPF [National Psoriasis Foundation] Seal of Recognition,” said a spokesperson from the NPF. “NPF applauds Tower 28 and all our Seal of Recognition partners for their commitment to the skin health of our community.”

Driven by her own experience with severe chronic eczema, Liu founded Tower 28 in 2019 with the goal of creating a brand inclusive of all skin tones, skin types, skin conditions, budgets, and beauty philosophies. Its launch raised the bar for inclusive, sensitive skin-friendly beauty, with every product made using non-toxic, non-irritating ingredients, meaning no fillers, no fragrances, and no animal by-products. Tower 28 also adheres to a strict internal blacklist, eliminating not only toxic and harmful ingredients but also those that are irritating or pore-clogging. Every product is formulated to comply with EU regulations, California Prop 65, and Credo Beauty standards.

Since its launch, the brand has built an avid following among customers, tastemakers, and celebrities alike, thanks to its high-performance, irritant-free products that blend innovation, advocacy, sustainability, and accessibility. Cult favourites include the BeachPlease Cream Blushes and ShineOn Lip Jelly, while recent releases such as the GetSet Matte Powder Blush — the first-ever blush and setting powder hybrid in the beauty space — continue to cement Tower 28’s status as a true beauty innovator.

Tower 28 is available in the US at sephora.com and credobeauty.com, and in the UK at cultbeauty.co.uk and revolve.com.
