Alix Earle Is Officially in Her Beauty Founder Era
Alix Earle is officially entering her beauty founder era.
It feels long overdue. After years of documenting her skin journey for millions of followers, the mega-influencer is finally launching Reale Actives, her very own skincare brand.
Designed with breakout-prone skin in mind but gentle enough for everyone, Reale Actives isn’t positioning itself as just another celebrity vanity project. The formulas were developed alongside Earle’s dermatologist, Dr Kiran Mian, using clinically validated ingredients supported by third-party testing, with the goal of bridging the gap between high-performance skincare and products people actually want to use.
And when it comes to authenticity, Reale Actives feels rooted in the skin story her audience has watched unfold in real time. Earle’s acne journey is well documented, from speaking openly in “Get Ready With Me” videos to appearing makeup-free with breakouts on full display — transparency that helped cement her status as one of America’s most influential women.
“I started Reale Actives after years of struggling with acne and trying products that either didn’t work or were too harsh for my sensitive skin,” says Earle. “I was constantly confused about what routine was actually right for me, and so many products felt overly clinical, complicated, and honestly not very fun. After dealing with cystic acne my whole life, I learned that consistency and a gentle approach are what finally helped me get it under control.”
With nearly 50 million Americans experiencing acne each year, the category remains one of skincare’s largest yet often dominated by overly aggressive treatments that can leave the skin barrier compromised. For anyone who’s ever spent most of their salary on strong acids that caused more irritation than improvement, Reale Actives is promising a different approach: gentle formulas backed by barrier-supportive science. It launches with a streamlined four-step routine designed to support sensitive, acne-prone skin that has to keep up with travel, heavy glam, and long days — things Earle knows all too well.
The lineup starts with the Get Bare Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm ($29), which uses a balm-to-oil texture to dissolve makeup (waterproof mascara included) without clogging pores. This is followed by the Pore Power Exfoliating LHA + BHA Gel Cleanser ($28), designed for daily use to manage excess oil while maintaining the skin barrier. For texture concerns, the Go Deep 8% Mandelic Acid Serum Concentrate ($39) acts as a gentle resurfacing treatment, while the Dew More Barrier Boosting Moisturiser ($36) utilises a Quad-Ceramide Complex in a lightweight cream format for hydration. All items in the collection are noted as being cruelty-free, vegan, and developed by dermatologists.
“Despite affecting millions of people, the acne skincare category has remained surprisingly outdated — often overly aggressive, unnecessarily complicated, and honestly, a little joyless,” says Andrea Blieden, CEO of Reale Actives. “Ultimately, we’re building a brand that delivers serious clinical results while reminding people that acne doesn’t define them — and it can’t dim their spark.”
By prioritising streamlined, non-comedogenic, and non-acne-causing formulas, Earle is speaking directly to a generation tired of overcomplicated routines, sceptical of harsh actives, and done hiding behind concealer or filters. As she puts it: “My hope is that Reale Actives helps people feel confident enough to live their lives fully, because your skin shouldn’t be the thing that holds you back. Reale you is perfect you.”
Reale Actives launches on realeactives.com on 31 March and will initially ship exclusively within the US.
