Bella Hadid Launches Fragrance Brand

Bella Hadid is adding beauty entrepreneur to her list of accolades with the launch of ‘Ôrəbella, a new perfume brand pioneering skin-nourishing fragrances.

Pronounced ‘aura-bella’, ‘Ôrəbella is the first-ever alcohol-free, essential-oil-based bi-phase perfume brand. Inspired by Bella’s personal journey with fragrance, ‘Ôrəbella is a response to her skin sensitivities with standard alcohol-based fragrances. Motivated by her love of fragrance and need for a high-quality alternative, Bella began creating her own essential oil blends, growing lavender and distilling oils herself on her family farm. As she told WWD, “My way into fragrance was being on my farm with our lavender plants, and we have a cute health food store down the street from my house there,” she said. “They have the craziest variety of essential oils, and I’m obsessed with putting things together that you wouldn’t normally smell.”

‘Ôrəbella’s signature bi-phase formula features two layers designed to be shaken together to activate the fragrance. The first layer is formulated with the brand’s proprietary ‘Ôrəlixir base which combines hydrating snow mushroom and a five-oil blend of camellia, almond, olive, jojoba, and shea to nourish skin and enrich the scent’s potency. The second layer boosts wellbeing with a blend of aromatherapy essential oils and fine fragrance notes.

'Ôrəbella fragrances

The innovative fragrance brand launches with three distinct, genderless fragrances developed by Bella in partnership with leading global fragrance houses Firmenich and Robertet. Window2Soul is a floral scent combining notes of rose, jasmine, fresh lemon, and tonka bean. Salted Muse, described as a ‘woody marine’, features notes of sea salt, pink pepper, olive tree accord, lavender, woods, and crisp amber; while Blooming Fire conjures tropical feelings with notes of Tahitian monoi flower, patchouli, and bergamot. Each scent is available in three sizes, 10ml for $35, 50ml for $72, and 100ml for $100.

Designed to fit comfortably in the palm of the hand, the beautiful crystal-inspired bottles pay homage to Bella’s mother’s vintage perfume collection.

All ‘Ôrəbella products are vegan, cruelty-free, dermatologist-tested, and suitable for sensitive skin. They are formulated with the highest quality responsibly sourced ingredients and are free from alcohol, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, gluten, or wheat-derived ingredients.

‘Ôrəbella is now available on orebella.com and will launch in all 1350+ Ulta Beauty stores across the US from 12th May. Information regarding a UK launch is yet to be announced.
