Demi Lovato Talks Injectables

Demi Lovato has opened up about her experience with injectables, having just been announced as the newest Xeomin brand partner.

Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA), a Merz Aesthetics brand, is an FDA-approved anti-wrinkle injection designed to temporarily improve the appearance of frown lines. Its formula is created through a unique precision manufacturing process called XTRACT Technology™, which uses two filtration steps to isolate the therapeutic component of the molecule and removes the unnecessary proteins so that the active ingredient contains only what is needed to smooth frown lines.

Lovato was introduced to Xeomin by her dermatologist. “I’ve incorporated Xeomin into my routine every three months, and it gives me the results I want while still looking like myself,” Lovato told People Magazine. “There are times I like to get glam and times when I don’t like to wear makeup at all, and this gives me the confidence for both.” She continued, “I’m always transparent with my fans, and this is something I wanted to share. It normalizes it and takes the taboo away from injectables. It’s all about what makes you feel like your best self. Don’t listen to naysayers. Do what makes you feel comfortable in your own skin.”

The award-winning actor and musician will partner with Xeomin on the brand’s ‘Beauty on Your Terms’ campaign, which is designed to introduce Xeomin to a younger adult audience that is new to the injectables category and to empower them to embrace beauty on their own terms.

“The ‘Beauty on Your Terms’ campaign really resonates with me because I have always believed in the importance of being true to who you are and owning the choices that help you look and feel like the best, most authentic version of yourself,” said Lovato. “Part of that is also being mindful of what goes into the products you choose to use. Xeomin allows me to maintain the natural look I love with no unnecessary ingredients.”
