Diptyque Taps Susanne Kaufmann for First Skincare Collaboration

Diptyque’s Summer 2025 collection, The Summer Fruit Garden, is an olfactory celebration of nature in full bloom, spanning fragrance, bodycare, and scented accessories. This seasonal launch also marks a milestone for the French fragrance house — its first-ever skincare collaboration, introduced through a single, limited-edition product created alongside Austrian natural beauty pioneer Susanne Kaufmann.
The result of the partnership is the Diptyque x Susanne Kaufmann Lip Oil, a nourishing formula infused with a refreshing citrus-mint accord that pairs Diptyque’s fragrance expertise with Kaufmann’s botanical approach to skin health. The lightweight oil blends meadowfoam seed, sunflower seed, and jojoba oils to hydrate and protect, while sea buckthorn extract helps smooth and brighten. A mood-enhancing active, Myramaze-Essence, adds a multisensory lift, turning a daily ritual into a moment of self-care.
Alongside the Lip Oil, the summer collection introduces four new launches. New to Diptyque’s bodycare line, the Cleansing Hand and Body Gel is now offered in the refreshing Citronnelle & Géranium scent, adding a zesty, herbaceous twist to the brand’s gently purifying formula. Reimagined for the season, the Vinaigre de Toilette returns in a limited-edition blend of lavender, rosemary, and thyme. Evocative of a traditional cologne, this versatile formula can be spritzed on the body, added to bathwater, or used to refresh linens.
Diptyque also debuts a Shampoo infused with luminous notes of bergamot, green tangerine, and neroli honey. The formula gently cleanses, enhances shine, and leaves a delicate, lingering scent. Finally, the Carousel for extra-large candles is a decorative accessory embellished with golden, sun-shaped tassels that twirl in the warmth of the flame, casting shifting light and shadow.

The wider Summer Fruit Garden collection reimagines Diptyque classics in limited-edition packaging adorned with the joyful illustrations of Parisian multi-hyphenate artist Marie-Victoire de Bascher, whose whimsical style captures the energy and playfulness of the season. These returning favourites include L’Eau des Hespérides Eau de Toilette, Citronnelle & Géranium Summer Body Spray, and the iconic Citronnelle Candle, available in both the brand’s classic and very large formats.
While not part of the limited-edition packaging line-up, the collection also reintroduces Ilio, which, previously a summer exclusive, has now become a permanent member of Diptyque’s fragrance family, available year-round.
Products in The Summer Fruit Garden collection range from £36 ($40) for the Lip Oil to £290 ($430) for the oversized Citronnelle Candle. Summer Essentials, a beautifully curated gift set featuring ten scented staples, is also available for £230 ($315).
The Summer Fruit Garden collection is available now at Diptyque boutiques, diptyqueparis.com, and select UK retailers including Harrods and Space NK, as well as in the US via Bergdorf Goodman.
