Doja Cat Joins MAC Cosmetics as Global Ambassador

MAC Cosmetics has named Doja Cat as its latest Global Ambassador, unveiling a long-term partnership that will see her front international campaigns for some of the brand’s most iconic products.
Her official MAC debut came in true viral fashion at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, where she sank her teeth into what appeared to be her go-to MAC Lipstick, Lady Danger — later revealed to be a chocolate replica crafted by world-renowned pastry chef Amaury Guichon.
The Grammy Award winner first captured attention in 2018 with her viral hit Mooo! before breaking through with chart-toppers like Say So and Kiss Me More. In the years since, she has expanded her creative reach far beyond music, earning acclaim for her bold, theatrical performances and ever-shifting style. With her acclaimed 2024 album Scarlet 2 and standout festival appearances, she is now preparing to headline global stages while teasing new collaborations across music, fashion, and art.
“I’ve been a MAC girl forever, and now I get to take that love to the global stage,” said Doja. “Makeup is my paint, my armour, my way of creating characters – and MAC has always stood for that kind of artistry and freedom. We’re going to push it even further and make people see beauty in a whole new way.”
For MAC, the partnership reaffirms the brand’s position at the intersection of beauty and culture. Since its founding in Toronto in 1984, MAC has built a global reputation for professional-grade artistry and inclusivity, with a history of collaborations that spotlight visionary figures in music, fashion, and entertainment.
“Doja has a fearless energy that’s so authentically MAC,” said Nicola Formichetti, MAC’s Global Creative Director. “She uses makeup as a tool for creativity, pushing the boundaries of expression. We’re thrilled to join forces with her to redefine and disrupt the beauty space.”
MAC is available through standalone stores and beauty counters across the UK and US, with additional stockists including Boots and Sephora in the UK, and Nordstrom and Ulta Beauty in the US.
