Dr Paul Banwell Opens the Pantheons Clinic

Renowned plastic and cosmetic surgeon Dr Paul Banwell has officially unveiled the Pantheons Clinic. The new London destination brings together a team of specialists offering a range of aesthetic and medical procedures, with an emphasis on advanced technology, natural results, and individualised care.
“I am so thrilled to announce the Pantheons Clinic to the world,” said Dr Banwell. “After 10 years of the wonderful Banwell Clinic, I felt it was time to unveil the next chapter in innovation and growth within plastic surgery.”
Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeon Dr Katia Sindali joins the team, bringing further expertise to the clinic’s surgical offering. The clinic is also supported by healthcare platform Adoreal, integrating innovations such as 3D visualisation to help patients preview potential results ahead of treatment.
A recognised leader in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, Dr Banwell is known for his precision-led techniques and progressive approach to patient-centred care and innovation. His clinical focus includes advanced breast surgery, from minimal-scar techniques to complex revision work and the Mia Femtech method, a refined, minimally invasive enhancement performed under local anaesthetic. Outside the operating room, he is an authority on wound healing and scar management, a published author, and founder of the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Unit (MASCU) in East Grinstead. He previously held a Visiting Professorship at Harvard Medical School and is a full member of BAPRAS, BAAPS, and ISAPS.
Some of Dr Banwell’s most popular treatments will be available at the Pantheons Clinic, including:
Motiva Preservé Breast Augmentation
Motiva Preservé is one of the latest advanced cosmetic breast procedures to be introduced in the UK. “The innovative technique is minimally invasive and works to preserve your breast tissue through specially designed instruments which allow me to create a channel (so-called ‘nest’) for the implant,” explains Dr Banwell. “This stretches tissues rather than cuts them, which means there is minimal tissue damage as well as no impact on the underlying muscle at all.”
By preserving breast tissue, this technique provides a safer, less painful procedure with fewer complications and a faster recovery. Dr Banwell adds: “There is also a minimal scar technique which hides the scar in the crease of the breast. A 30-minute skin-to-skin procedure using local anaesthetic and sedation means quicker recovery time, so you can get back to your daily activities.”
Mia Femtech
Mia Femtech is a minimally invasive breast enhancement option designed to deliver natural-looking results with minimal downtime. Using Motiva Ergonomix2 Diamond implants, the procedure avoids traditional scarring thanks to a small incision placed in the armpit fold.
“Mia FemTech is a next-generation breast enhancement solution that prioritises natural aesthetics, minimal recovery, and patient safety,” says Dr Banwell. “The diamond-shaped silicone implants ensure seamless integration with your body.” The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, and most patients can return to their usual routines the same day.
He adds: “It uses a no-scalpel method which preserves the natural structure and function of the breast, and a no-touch technology which reduces the risk of germ spread with disposable surgical instruments. Implants can be removed as easily as they are inserted for easily reversible results.”
Mummy Makeovers
Mummy makeovers combine a selection of procedures tailored to each patient’s needs post-pregnancy. Common treatments include tummy tucks, breast enhancement or lifts, and targeted liposuction, with additional options such as labiaplasty and scar revision available.
“Mummy Makeovers are a collection of procedures that are chosen to suit the patient’s specific needs,” says Dr Banwell. “Generally, the options are a tummy tuck to restore your pre-pregnancy abdomen, breast enhancement or lift to regain shape and volume, and targeted liposuction for precise body contouring.”
Upper Blepharoplasty
Upper blepharoplasty, or eyelid lift, is a popular option for those looking to restore a more refreshed and youthful appearance to the eye area. The procedure removes excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids and can also help improve vision in cases where drooping skin affects the line of sight.
“Upper blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to address sagging or drooping upper eyelids,” explains Dr Banwell. “By removing excess skin and fat, this treatment enhances your natural beauty, restores a youthful appearance, and can even improve vision impaired by hooded lids.”
