Drake Launches First Eau de Parfum

Drake has introduced his first-ever eau de parfum, Summer Mink, under his luxury fragrance brand, Better World Fragrance House.
The rapper and entrepreneur launched Better World Fragrance House in 2021, debuting with a collection of luxury candles that includes Carby Musk, Sweeter Tings, Muskoka, Williamsburg Sleepover, and Good Thoughts. Said to smell like Drake, the hero scent, Carby Musk is a soy blend containing notes of musk, amber, cashmere, suede, and velvet. The scent was so popular that it was released in oil format in January 2024, signifying the brand’s move into personal fragrance.
Available in a 3.4 oz (100ml) bottle priced at $148, the amber woody scent opens with vibrant Italian citrus, aromatic sage, and petitgrain; unfolds into a warm, spicy floral heart of jasmine sambac and rose oil spices; and settles into a sensual base of vetiver, ambrofix, and creamy musk.
In creating Summer Mink, Drake collaborated with renowned nose Michael Carby, Senior Perfumer at Givaudan.
“Summer Mink was inspired by a yin yang principle of fusing warm, creamy base notes with cold spices and sparkling citruses,” said Carby. “The ingredient composition was uniquely crafted to reflect a multinational culture with aspirations toward a Better World.”
The multisensory fragrance pairs an intoxicating scent with an elegant globe-shaped bottle, washed in the brand’s signature midnight blue.

Summer Mink is now available at betterworldfragrancehouse.co. It will launch on ulta.com on 11 May and in Ulta stores nationwide on 12 May. A UK launch date has yet to be announced.
