Introducing Nutrire: A Skin-Centric Approach to Haircare

Nutrire Skin-Centric Haircare

Nutrire is the newest name in haircare, bringing with it a skin-first philosophy that addresses individual scalp and strand needs.

Rooted in the expertise of Tricoci Salon and Spa—a luxury salon and spa founded in Chicago in 1977—Nutrire draws from decades of professional experience. Its name, meaning “to nourish” in Italian, encapsulates the brand’s mission: to nurture hair from scalp to tip.

Developed in collaboration with aestheticians, trichologists, and hairstylists, Nutrire is built on cutting-edge ingredient technology and a science-backed approach. Inspired by the American Dermatological Association’s classification of skin types, the brand meticulously identified the precise nourishment needed for optimal scalp health. From there, they expanded their focus to strand care, factoring in strand density and damage levels to craft a holistic, results-driven system. Each formula is infused with clinical actives, ensuring that every product is both effective and gentle, delivering transformative results with care.

The brand introduces a three-step nourishing system rooted in skincare principles. The regimen includes clinically proven scalp serums to treat and optimise scalp health, shampoos tailored to scalp type (dry, normal, or oily), and conditioners designed for hair type (fine, medium, thick, or damaged).

“This launch marks a bold departure from traditional hair care norms,” said Kristen Chase, General Manager at Nutrire. “Where the category often focuses solely on the strand or bundles shampoo and conditioner together to address a single concern, Nutrire rewrites the script by delivering the most potent nutritional formulas for both the hair and scalp. We refuse to let consumers compromise – pairing clinical performance with the elegance of tailored, luxurious care. Nutrire is about empowering people to achieve their healthiest, most vibrant hair, supported by a transformative approach that truly elevates scalp and strand health.”

Nutrire haircare range

At the core of Nutrire’s formulations is its proprietary Complex8 technology, a blend of science-backed and naturally derived ingredients designed to block DHT—the hormone linked to hair thinning—ensuring that hair remains strong and nourished. The formulas incorporate powerhouse skincare ingredients like niacinamide and lactic acid, botanical extracts such as red clover and mango butter, and clinical actives like Peachcalm and Nutrinvent Balance.

“This is how everyone should be caring for their scalp and strands,” said Clariss Rubenstein, Celebrity Hairstylist Ambassador at Nutrire. “I fell in love with the concept of the line when I first learned about it, and the second I tried the scalp serums, shampoos and conditioners, I was sold. In my experienced, professional, product loving, hair-health obsessed opinion, Nutrire is what has been missing from hair care.”

Nutrire launches with a carefully curated lineup of nine products: two advanced treatment scalp serums, three scalp-focused shampoos, and four strand-specific conditioners. Combining dermatologically tested science with a sensorial experience, each product also features the brand’s signature scent—a refined blend of herbaceous and woody notes. The entire range is vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without sulfates, parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, or other potentially harmful ingredients.

Retailing between $36 and $68, Nutrire products are now available online at nutrire.com. Information regarding a UK launch has yet to be announced.
