Jenna Ortega Is the New Face of Dior Makeup

Dior has named Jenna Ortega as its new international beauty ambassador for makeup.
Best known for her breakout role as Wednesday Addams in Netflix’s hit series Wednesday, Ortega has quickly become one of Hollywood’s most talked-about young talents. Her collaboration with director Tim Burton continues in the show’s second season, set to return in autumn 2025, and the pair have reunited for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the long-awaited sequel to Burton’s cult classic.
This year marks an especially prolific chapter in Ortega’s career. She is starring in and executive producing Death of a Unicorn, appears opposite The Weeknd in Hurry Up Tomorrow (directed by Trey Edward Shults), and has recently wrapped The Gallerist, in which she stars alongside Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman. She is also set to appear in Klara and the Sun, directed by Taika Waititi.
“Jenna Ortega embodies the bold elegance of the House,” Dior said in a statement. “It is a tailor-made role for this rising star who, through her values and her personality, is already inspiring an entire generation.”
This appointment builds on Ortega’s existing relationship with the brand, having previously fronted campaigns for its Gris Dior fragrance and Rose des Vents jewellery collection.
Ortega will represent Dior Makeup under the creative direction of Peter Philips, the brand’s Creative and Image Director.
“The House of Dior symbolizes audacity, elegance, and timelessness, and being part of it is both incredibly exciting and surreal,” Ortega shared. “The first time I wore lipstick, I must have been 10 or 11 and it was for work, because I started acting when I was so little. I was wearing my mom’s lipstick, we were just in the bathroom of the studio and she put it on me.”
With her signature blend of gothic charm, quiet confidence, and Gen Z appeal, Ortega’s appointment ushers in a new era for Dior Makeup, one that offers an edgy take on classic beauty.
