Monday Haircare Founder Launches Being
Jaimee Lupton, the female founder behind MONDAY Haircare and Osāna Naturals, has just launched Being, a new inclusive haircare brand designed for all hair textures and needs.
Exclusively available at Walmart across the US, Being offers a comprehensive lineup of moisture-rich shampoos, conditioners, and treatments, all at an accessible price point.
“We know haircare isn’t one size fits all, and consumers deserve more than a blanket approach to products, which often ignores a myriad of hair types, textures and needs. With Being, we offer fun, effective, solution-based haircare for hair types 1a to 4c, all under $7,” said Lupton.
Expertly formulated with the help of trichologists, Being’s development also benefited from the insights of an advisory board comprising beauty expert and founder of Texture Diaries, Akili King; celebrity hairstylist, Alyx Liu; journalist and founder of Cripple Media, Emily Flores; and beauty and lifestyle influencer, Shahd Batal.
Being features 16 essential haircare products organized into five product families: Nourish + Shine, Big Hair, Bye Bye Frizz, Curl Power, and Max Moisture. All products are certified cruelty-free, Leaping Bunny approved, and formulated with ethically sourced ingredients that are gentle on hair and planet.
To ensure accessibility for all, Being incorporates universal design elements in its packaging, such as a soft, easy-to-squeeze tube perfect for one-handed use, and a lipped-lid design to make it easier for individuals with limited dexterity to open the bottle. The products also feature high-contrast labels, large typography, and tactile markers to aid those with visual impairments and colour-blindness.
Being is now available at Walmart, with prices starting at $6.97. Information regarding a UK launch is yet to be announced.
