Sol de Janeiro Is Now a Certified B Corp

Sol de Janeiro has officially become a B Corp, joining a small but growing group of beauty brands with the certification. B Corp status isn’t about the products so much as everything behind them: how a business treats its staff, how transparent it is, its environmental impact, and what it gives back. The brand is already doing some of that through the Sol de Janeiro Foundation, which supports biodiversity projects and programmes for young women.

Merit Collaborates With Erdem

Three sets make up the collection, including a new rose-bronze Day Glow shade, two new lip colours, and a trio of mini hand soaps, all dressed in bespoke Erdem packaging. Dermatica Is Pulling Out of the US

Dermatica is leaving the US after six years in the market. The UK personalised skincare brand will stop operating there on 16 December and is no longer accepting new US subscribers. Existing customers can continue shopping via dermatica.com until then, while stocks last, and some products may remain available on Amazon afterwards.

Joe Jonas Fronts Kenneth Cole’s New Fragrance

Kenneth Cole has dropped a new men’s fragrance, Inspire, with Joe Jonas fronting the launch. The fun campaign sees Jonas perform a spoof power ballad about the fragrance, backed by an all-Joe choir. The scent itself is a woody aromatic blend of bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, rosemary, cypress, black pepper, cedarwood, oakmoss, and amber.

Saie Makes Its UK Retail Debut at Sephora

Saie is finally getting a home on the British high street. From 6 October, the clean makeup brand will have its own dedicated space in Sephora UK, its first physical retail presence in the country. Founded by Laney Crowell in 2019, Saie has been available online through Cult Beauty for a while, but until now that’s meant buying blind. Sephora changes that: the range will be there to swatch, test, and actually try on before you commit.
