Jo Malone London Has Made a Shampoo for Dogs

Jo Malone London has teamed up with British pet-care brand WildWash on a new Orange & Cedarwood Dog Shampoo. Made with naturally derived orange and cedarwood essential oils, it’s designed to cleanse, freshen, and leave coats looking shiny. The packaging is cute too: each bottle features one of four dog illustrations — with online shoppers not knowing which they’ll receive until it arrives. The UK-exclusive launch is available now at jomalone.co.uk and in Jo Malone London stores.

Nicole Kidman Brings ’90s Supermodel Beauty to the Practical Magic 2 Premiere

Nicole Kidman leaned into ’90s supermodel glam for the Los Angeles premiere of Practical Magic 2. Makeup artist Gucci Westman took her cue from Kidman’s Versace dress, keeping the skin luminous and softly sculpted before adding subtle definition around the eyes and a polished lip. The look was created entirely with Clé de Peau Beauté, with Westman calling out the Eye Contour Cream Supreme, Powder Blush Duo in 102 Cherry Blossom, and Intensifying Liquid Eyeliner in Black as her hero products.

Darkfin Labs Brings Its Longevity Skincare to Ulta

Darkfin Labs has landed at ulta.com with its Longevity Protocol Serum + Moisturizer, a two-in-one formula designed to replace several steps in your routine. Founded by stem cell biologist Annalina Che, the brand takes a longevity-led approach to skincare, with its L-01 complex combining growth factors, peptides, and an enzyme linked to cellular NAD+ support. Darkfin says the finished formula has been tested under dermatologist supervision, with improvements seen across things like lines, elasticity, and barrier strength. A cleanser and lip treatment are set to follow.

Vernon François Is Helping Build the Future of Braiding

Celebrity hairstylist Vernon François is lending his expertise to Halo, the hair-tech company behind a new device designed to speed up braiding. HaloBraid works alongside stylists rather than replacing them: they start each braid by hand, then the device finishes it while following their braid style. Halo says it can work up to five times faster, and François is now helping test and refine the technology as the company’s first Creative Engineer. The device is set to launch later this year.

Ultra Violette Brings Newly Approved SPF Filter BEMT to the US

Ultra Violette has launched Unblock Screen SPF 50 in the US, making it the first sunscreen there to use bemotrizinol, or BEMT, since the filter was approved by the FDA in June. Designed for oily, acne-prone, and reactive skin, the soft-matte formula pairs zinc with BEMT, plus Bix’Activ to help manage excess oil and Pentavitin for hydration. It’s available now at ultraviolettespf.com and sephora.com for $40, with Sephora stores following on 2 October.

BTL Launches a Dedicated Laser Division With Exolase One

The company behind Emsculpt and Emface is making a bigger move into lasers. BTL has launched a new dedicated laser division, with Exolase One as its flagship system. The treatment uses what the brand calls fused erbium technology, combining multiple erbium wavelengths into a single beam so they can work on the same area at once. BTL says that means a full-face treatment can take under 10 minutes. Exolase One is currently in early access, with a wider global launch planned for 2027.
