Celebrity Stylist Chris McMillan Launches Haircare Brand

Chris McMillan, the celebrity stylist who gave the world Rachel Green’s iconic cut, is finally channelling his expertise into his own namesake brand.
The launch crowns a career spanning more than four decades, during which McMillan has crafted some of Hollywood’s most recognisable hairstyles, both in the salon and on set, for a roster of A-list clients including Michelle Williams, Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek, Miley Cyrus, and, of course, Jennifer Aniston.
For McMillan, the launch marks a long-awaited personal milestone in a career that has defined red-carpet and on-screen hair moments. “How do I get this look at home?” is a question he’s been asked countless times in the salon chair. Now, with a collection designed for both professionals and everyday users, he’s offering a solution: simple, results-driven formulas built to deliver good hair days for everyone. “I hope my products are the solution to everyone having a good hair day, because everyone deserves good hair,” says Chris.
Each product is designed to be layerable and lightweight, giving users the freedom to play with different styles without weighing hair down. The range is powered by HS3, a proprietary complex that protects hair from heat up to 232°C (450°F), strengthens strands from within, and enhances shine over time.

McMillan has also brought his love of fragrance to the collection with three signature scents. White Tee blends fresh green tea top notes with lily of the valley and warm santal. Copper Skies combines a seawater opening with orange blossom at the heart and a base of warm amber, and Tomboy opens with bergamot, balanced by spicy baie rose and grounded with vetiver.
Launching exclusively with Sephora, the debut lineup features seven essential styling products:
- Glassy Smooth Blowdry Spray: a heat-protecting prep spray that reduces dry time, blocks humidity, and creates long-lasting blowouts.
- Major Hairspray: a superfine spray providing buildable hold and shine to shape, hold, and finish any look.
- Dry Texture Spray: a hybrid texture spray that delivers instant volume and style extension for all hair types.
- Styling Balm: a multitasking balm for shaping, enhancing natural texture, or eliminating frizz.
- The Wand: a portable styling tool designed to tame flyaways and refresh styles on the go.
- The Gel: a modern gel with strong, buildable hold that leaves no residue, ideal for slicked-back styles or sculpted looks.
- The Mousse: an air-whipped mousse that adds volume, defines texture, and enhances natural curls.
Chris McMillan haircare will be available exclusively on chrismcmillan.com and sephora.com on 12 August, with prices ranging from $22 to $38. The brand will launch at select Sephora locations nationwide on 18 August.
