Cosmetic Consult Lands at Selfridges
After amassing a cult following since its digital debut two years ago, Cosmetic Consult is now preparing to enter physical retail.
In a major move for the independent British skincare brand, founder and skin expert Ashley Stobart has secured the ultimate retail holy grail: a partnership with Selfridges. Starting in mid-May, the brand will officially launch at the retailer’s Oxford Street and Trafford stores, as well as online at selfridges.com.
Cosmetic Consult wasn’t an overnight success, but rather a brand four years in the making. Stobart, known to many as a podcast co-host and beauty industry veteran, focused on a results-driven ethos that stripped back overcomplicated routines.
The brand’s first product, Miracle Skin Transformation, has already earned its stripes in the kits of celebrity makeup artists and influencers, frequently selling out. For the uninitiated, think of this as a powerhouse facial in a single swipe. These pre-soaked towelettes are infused with active ingredients designed to tackle everything from stubborn breakouts and uneven texture to fine lines and dark spots. Salicylic acid does the heavy lifting, diving deep to clear congested pores, while retinyl palmitate, a gentler retinoid, helps stimulate collagen production for long-term smoothing. To keep things balanced, the formula leans on bakuchiol, witch hazel, and a seven-seed extract to ensure skin stays hydrated and calm rather than stripped.
“Selfridges has always been on my vision board, so to see Cosmetic Consult launching there is incredibly exciting,” says Stobart. “It’s a natural next step for the brand and allows our customers to access the full range in a space they already know and trust. As we continue to grow and expand our product offering, it’s important for us to meet our community where they are, while also reaching new audiences who are looking for effective, treatment-led skincare.”
Now, as Cosmetic Consult scales, the Selfridges partnership acts as a bridge between its online community and mainstream beauty consumers. But the expansion doesn’t stop with retail. The brand has also confirmed several new products set to launch in 2026, including the newly released Miracle Cryo Eye Masks.
