If Jacob Elordi wasn’t already dominating the cultural landscape, Chanel just upped the ante. The French fashion house has just announced the Australian actor as the new ambassador for Bleu de Chanel, with a fresh campaign set to drop this May.

“Bleu de Chanel has strong ties to cinema,” said Elordi. “The filmmakers and actors who have collaborated with the House before me are people I deeply respect and admire. Being able to become part of this story is an honour.”

Since first meeting the now-28-year-old as the deeply troubled Nate Jacobs in Euphoria, Elordi has spent the last few years proving he’s got the range to back up that smoulder. From playing Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla to his 2026 Academy Award nomination for his role as The Creature in Frankenstein, he’s become one of the most sought-after names in Hollywood.

Elordi’s history with Chanel isn’t exactly new. He appeared alongside his Wuthering Heights co-star Margot Robbie in the Luca Guadagnino-directed film See You at 5 for Chanel N°5.

“I have been following Jacob Elordi’s career for several years, since Euphoria,” says Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Head of Global Creative Resources for Fragrance & Beauty at Chanel. “I first met him on the set of the See You at 5 film for N°5, in which he stars alongside Margot Robbie, and it was a revelation. He perfectly embodies Bleu de Chanel: expressing freedom, mystery, magnetism and a masculinity that blends modernity with a certain classic elegance.”

Created by master perfumer Jacques Polge, Bleu de Chanel is a modern classic. It opens with a crisp blast of grapefruit, lemon, and mint, sharpened by a hit of pink pepper, before transforming into something a little warmer and more complex. Ginger and nutmeg bring a dry spice, while jasmine keeps things refined. The scent then settles into a warm, smooth base of incense, cedar, sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli, and white musk.

Bleu de Chanel is now available at chanel.com. Those in the UK can also shop the scent at Boots and Sephora, while US shoppers can find it at Nordstrom and Ulta Beauty.
