Clean Beauty Pioneer Karen Behnke Is Back With Beauty Crush
Karen Behnke is back in her beauty-founder era.
The clean beauty pioneer behind Juice Beauty has just launched her newest skincare brand, Beauty Crush, and it’s leaning hard into everything modern beauty loves right now: fewer products, smarter formulas, serious biotech, and a much more celebratory take on ageing.
Operating out of Behnke’s solar-powered Sonoma vineyard estate in California, Beauty Crush combines certified organic luxury and advanced skincare science. We’re talking regenerative biotechnology designed to support collagen, skin elasticity, fine lines, and overall skin health.
For the last two decades, Karen has been actively challenging industry norms, hunting down clean, high-performance alternatives to some of the more heavily scrutinised ingredients in the industry. With Beauty Crush, she’s taken that mission into full biotech territory, partnering with a top US company to develop a proprietary, plant-derived exosome complex using rare Falanghina grape leaves to support visible skin renewal.
“I’m proud to be launching my fourth company, Beauty Crush Skincare,” said Behnke. “As I’ve been dreaming of so many elevated beauty inventions and patents, and given that I own this stunning Sonoma Beauty Vineyard, I had to follow my passion and start another skincare venture and these products achieved the best clinical results of my beauty career! Beauty Crush is built on regenerative biotech skincare, integrating sustainability, clean crushing, and organic vineyard luxury.”
The brand’s hero grape ingredients — known as SuperGlow Grapes — are grown and preserved through a meticulous process called ‘clean crushing’ (and yep, that’s exactly where the name comes from). This method keeps the full spectrum of bioactive nutrients in its vineyard-grown ingredients completely intact.
Overseeing this high-tech process is Howard Luria, MD, a cardiologist-turned-vineyard steward who also happens to be Karen’s husband and the brand’s chief science advisor (talk about a power couple!). Together, they make sure these rare grape varieties are grown using certified organic and regenerative viticulture techniques that enrich the soil, protect local biodiversity, and naturally boost the crop’s potency for maximum skincare benefits.
And the receipts are there. According to the brand, its SuperGlow Grapes have been shown to contain up to 8.5 times higher antioxidant levels than conventionally farmed grapes. Translation: a massive dose of polyphenols to shield skin from environmental stress while unlocking a serious glow.
Across the entire line, Beauty Crush mixes these rare Falanghina and Sagrantino grapes with proprietary vineyard plant exosomes, biomimetic peptides, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and more.
The brand debuts with four products: Triple Action ExoCellular Antioxidant Peptide Serum, to target radiance, uneven tone, and fine lines; Triple Action ExoCellular Glow Moisturizer, to hydrate and brighten; SuperGlow Peptide Firming Body Moisturizer, to deeply hydrate, firm, and protect; and SuperGlow Vitamin Cleanser, to cleanse and brighten.
Beauty Crush is now available exclusively at beautycrushskin.com, with prices ranging from $36 to $68. There is currently no word on a UK launch.
