Laura Jackson Just Dropped a Skincare Brand

Entrepreneur and lifestyle tastemaker Laura Jackson is entering the beauty space with the launch of Rocco.

Billed as an ‘anti-overwhelm’ beauty brand, Rocco’s here to reframe how we approach beauty. Instead of chasing that exhausting, filter-perfect skin standard, this clever range blends dermatologically backed ingredients with neuroscience to create affordable neuro-cosmetic skincare.

The inspiration behind the brand came from a feeling most of us know all too well — absolute skincare fatigue. Jackson spent years feeling entirely overwhelmed by overcomplicated routines, yet completely underwhelmed by how those products actually made her feel.

Rocco Sunshine Dew

“Rocco came from a very real place. I was using products that promised everything, but none of them made me feel good,” Jackson explained. “Skincare had started to feel overwhelming, overly complicated and, at times, quite joyless. I wanted to create something that brought it back to basics: products that are credible and effective, but also uplifting to use. Because how you feel in your skin is just as important as how it looks. We’re not here to chase perfection. We’re here to create moments — small, everyday rituals that boost confidence, shift your mood and make you feel more like yourself.”

To nail that skin-mind connection, Rocco teamed up with a Vogue 100 Innovator to develop the formulas and create FaceFeels, the real talking point of the range. Present in most Rocco products, FaceFeels is a neuroscience-led scent powered by Aroma Wellness technology that is said to help enhance mood. Beyond the scent, the products are packed with ethically sourced, hard-working ingredients like baobab, probiotics, and arugula extract to help cushion and protect the skin barrier.

The debut range is available exclusively at Boots and made up of seven fully refillable essentials. For your daily cleanse, there is a choice of the TLC Melt Hydrating Balm Cleanser and the Soft Reset Foaming Cleanser, which gives you a gorgeous, cushiony foam that cleanses beautifully without leaving your face feeling tight. Next up are the skin preps: the Sunshine Dew Glow Essence, a lightweight fluid that smooths your skin and supports its natural pH, and the Triple Up Hydrating 3-in-1 Toner & Primer, which plumps your skin with hyaluronic acid and acts as the perfect, dewy bridge between your skincare and your makeup.

Rounding things off is the ultra-nourishing Cloud Bounce Hydrating Moisturiser, alongside a couple of targeted sheet treatments for when your skin needs a little extra attention: the Glow Rest Baobab Hydrogel Face Mask and the Happy Eyes Collagen Eye Patches. Worth noting if you are particularly sensitive to fragrance: these two are the only pieces in the entire lineup formulated without Rocco’s FaceFeels scent.

Rocco is now available at select Boots stores and boots.com, with prices ranging from £6 to £18.
