A-List Tanning Expert Mishel Chernyavskiy Just Launched Her Own Brand
Mishel Chernyavskiy — the spray tan expert behind the sun-kissed glow of Emily Ratajkowski, Sabrina Carpenter, Amelia Gray, and Shay Mitchell — is finally launching her own brand.
As one of Hollywood’s most in-demand tanning experts, Chernyavskiy was the obvious choice to bronze many of the Victoria’s Secret models at last year’s show, including Gigi Hadid, Angel Reese, and Barbie Ferreira. Now, she’s bottling that expertise into MSK Labs, a new brand centred around skincare-infused sunless tanning.
In opposition to the traditional, skin-drying formulas of self-tans past, MSK Labs is promising products that treat the skin while they bronze. The brand’s dermatologist-tested formulas are vegan, non-comedogenic, and free from parabens, sulfates, phthalates, formaldehydes, and mineral oils. They pair vegetable-derived DHA with heavy-hitting skincare ingredients usually reserved for facial serums: hyaluronic acid, lactic acid, squalane, and niacinamide to hydrate and improve skin texture.
The first product in the lineup is The Quickie ($45), an express, rinse-time-based tanning gel designed for customisable depth. Applied with a tanning mitt, the colour payoff depends entirely on how long you leave it on before rinsing. The guide runs from 30 minutes to an hour for a light glow and up to 6–8 hours for a deep, extra-dark tan.
For those who don’t have time to dedicate to tan development, The Night Affair ($40) works overnight to bronze your body. Doubling as a treatment-level hydrator that works while you snooze, you apply 2–3 pumps to clean skin before bed and rinse it off in the morning to reveal a softer glow. It can then be layered nightly for a deeper finish.
Completing the edit is the Tanning Mitt ($10) — soft, precise, and easy to control for smooth, streak-free application.
MSK Labs is now available in the US exclusively through msklabs.com.
