SickScience Takes Its Science-Led Skincare In-Store at Ulta
SickScience, the biotech-driven brand known for treating skincare like molecular biology, has announced its first major retail partnership with Ulta Beauty.
Starting today, the brand’s high-performance lineup is available at ulta.com. But for those who prefer to shop their products in person, a massive brick-and-mortar rollout begins on February 22 across 757 Ulta locations in the US.
Founded by molecular scientists Dr Polen Koçak and Dr Merve Yildirim, SickScience isn’t just another clean brand — it’s a brand born from a decade of regenerative medicine. At the heart of its formulas is NX35 Exosome Technology, a proprietary, 100% vegan, plant-based system designed to mimic how cells communicate to trigger repair and renewal.
“At SickScience, we believe beauty should work smarter,” said Yildirim. “We’re so excited to be working with Ulta Beauty, which allows us a space to educate and engage with consumers in a face-to-face way for the first time.”
The Ulta rollout brings a curated selection of smart formulas that treat the skin, scalp, and body.
The NetWork Rich Concentrated Serum ($74) is the brand’s heavy hitter. Originally engineered for wound healing, it uses NX35 exosome tech to help re-educate the skin, resulting in refined pores and a noticeably smoother texture.
For those looking to skip invasive aesthetic treatments, ShapeShift V-Line Jaw Defining Serum ($64) is a molecular gel-serum designed to visibly lift the neck and sculpt the jawline within a two-to-eight-week window.
The PowerCycle Scalp Treatment Serum ($64) targets the scalp’s molecular environment to support keratin levels. It’s not just a surface fix; it is clinically proven to reduce shedding and boost density in just four weeks.
Rounding out the collection is the DropOff Body Sculpting Serum ($52). It focuses on skin longevity by improving elasticity and is clinically proven to minimise the look of stretch marks and cellulite.
As consumers move away from quick fixes towards long-term skin health, Ulta is betting big on medical-grade results that don’t feel intimidating.
“Skincare is one of our most dynamic categories, driven by guests who are highly engaged and eager to explore clinically backed solutions to meet their goals,” said Lisa Tamburello, Vice President of Merchandising at Ulta Beauty. “Derm-founded and medical-grade skincare is resonating more than ever because it offers proven results in a way that feels inclusive, approachable, and driven by potent ingredients that are highly effective. SickScience embodies that balance, and we’re thrilled to welcome a brand that makes science-led skincare accessible to our Ulta Beauty community and beyond.”
SickScience is also available online at sicksciencelabs.com, shipping exclusively within the US.
