Tilt Beauty, the newest brand to enter the beauty space, was born from the personal journey of its 21-year-old founder, Aerin Glazer.

After being diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, Glazer struggled to open and apply most of the makeup products on the market. Frustrated by the lack of options for those with disabilities, she set out to create a brand where inclusivity isn’t an afterthought—it’s the focus. The result—which was over five years in the making—is Tilt Beauty, a truly inclusive brand that reimagines everyday makeup essentials with ergonomically designed, patented packaging and calming formulas expertly crafted for sensitive skin.

“I experienced chronic painful flare-ups that made using makeup products a constant challenge,” said Glazer. “I founded Tilt Beauty to create a brand where beauty is accessible to everyone. Our mission at Tilt Beauty is to design products that look beautiful and also make everyone feel included.”

Beyond product design, Tilt Beauty prioritises accessibility in every aspect of the customer experience. Packaging features an easy-open tear strip for hassle-free unboxing, braille on every box, and the Braille Institute’s Atkinson Hyperlegible font across its website and packaging for improved readability. This thoughtful approach has made Tilt the first beauty brand to receive the Arthritis Foundation’s Ease of Use certification, recognising its products as easy to open, hold, and apply for those with arthritis or chronic pain.

Tilt Beauty Makeup

Tilt Beauty launches with two products—the Lashscape Mascara and Grip Stick Hydrating Lip Treatment. Designed for effortless application, the Lashscape Mascara features an ergonomic grip, a custom shorter wand for better control, and a lash-hugging brush. Its long-wearing, smudge-resistant formula delivers up to 12 hours of lift, length, and curl in just one swipe, while the proprietary Tilt Calm Complex nourishes the lash line for healthier lashes.

Housed in a patented grippy case, the Grip Stick Hydrating Lip Treatment glides on smoothly to provide lasting hydration and a subtle demi-shine finish. Available in five buildable soft shades, the fragrance-free formula is infused with Tilt’s Calm Complex to relieve, soothe, and soften lips.

Tilt Beauty’s formulas are clean, vegan, cruelty-free, and refillable. They have also received the National Psoriasis Foundation Seal of Recognition, ensuring they are suitable for even the most sensitive skin.

With prices ranging from $16 to $28, Tilt Beauty is now available online at tiltbeauty.com. News regarding a UK launch has yet to be announced.
