Weleda Is Launching Fragrance & Clean Girls Are Going To Love It
Clean girls, rejoice. Weleda, the natural beauty brand behind some of the most dependable skincare staples, is expanding into fragrance for the first time. The brand’s new line of fragrance mists works double duty for body and hair, offering a clean, multitasking approach to scent.
For the uninitiated, Weleda is one of the original architects of clean, holistic beauty. Long before the clean girl aesthetic or green beauty trends dominated our feeds, the brand was pioneering sustainable, nature-led skincare rooted in pharmaceutical knowledge. The brand is best known for its 100-year-old bestseller, Skin Food, a deeply nourishing, ultra-moisturising multitasking cream that dermatologists, makeup artists, and A-listers have relied on for decades.
Like many of its products, Weleda’s category expansion brings a hybrid approach to beauty, combining 100% natural-origin fragrance notes with the kind of skincare benefits that made the brand famous — namely, an aloe vera base that provides lightweight nourishment, leaving skin and hair feeling revitalised rather than dried out.
Instead of launching with a single signature fragrance, the brand is introducing three distinct, playful scents designed to be mixed, matched, and layered. It’s very much a collection for those who love freshness, natural ingredients, and experimentation. Pricing is accessible too, with each 95ml bottle priced at £15.95.
As for the scents themselves, Vanilla Cloud is a deliciously indulgent gourmand fragrance that blends notes of creamy vanilla, warm biscuit, and spun sugar. Tropical Crush is a vibrant, fruity blend bursting with notes of ripe raspberry, juicy pineapple, and luscious mango, while Mystic Aura offers a captivating, sophisticated, and slightly mysterious woody scent that combines fresh orange, delicate orchid, and warm amber.
Weleda’s Fragrance Body & Hair Mists will be available to shop from 6 July at weleda.co.uk and amazon.co.uk. No news has been shared on a US launch, but we’ll keep you posted.
