Wonderskin Secures $50 Million in Series A Funding

Wonderskin has announced $50 million in minority funding through its Series A round, led by Insight Partners, the global venture capital and private equity firm.

The investment marks a pivotal moment for the young beauty brand, which has become known for its tech-forward innovation and disruptive marketing.

Founded in 2020 by Marina Kalenchyts, Michael Malinsky, and Douglas Cooper, Wonderskin gained global recognition for its Wonder Blading Lip Stain Masque — a cult favourite powered by the brand’s patented Wonder Blading technology. Since then, the brand has expanded its range to include a growing portfolio of long-wear, multi-functional products that combine proprietary science with bold design and broad consumer appeal.

Wonderskin is available in markets around the world, including the UK, US, EU countries, United Arab Emirates, Canada, and Australia. Key retail partners include Boots in the UK, Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters in the US, and Amazon.

With this new funding, Wonderskin plans to accelerate retail expansion and product development, reinforcing its mission to deliver high-performance cosmetics through a uniquely social-first, science-led lens.
