YSE Beauty Lands $15 Million Funding
YSE Beauty has secured $15 million in Series A funding as it prepares to accelerate its next phase of growth. The clinically tested skincare brand founded by Molly Sims closed the round led by Silas Capital, with participation from L Catterton and existing investors Willow Growth Partners and Halogen Ventures.
The funding will be used to support expanded distribution across all Sephora stores in the US, alongside continued growth of the brand’s direct-to-consumer business.
Founded in 2023, YSE Beauty was developed to address what Sims identified as a persistent gap in the skincare market: effective, streamlined solutions designed specifically for women aged 35 and over. Inspired by her own experience managing hyperpigmentation, Sims spent more than three years in research and development, testing hundreds of formulations before arriving at a tightly edited, clinically informed product line positioned around efficacy and ease of use.
“There is so much synergy between our brand, the brands in the Silas portfolio and L Catterton’s deep strategic knowledge of the category,” said Sims. “Both firms deeply understand the kind of women we speak to… what she wears, what she values and how she moves through the world. It feels like a true alignment in vision and audience, making it the perfect fit. This partnership isn’t just strategic — it’s a shared philosophy and a mutual understanding of what’s going to fuel us and where we want to take the brand next.”
Commercially, the business has shown strong momentum. In 2025, it reported 120% revenue growth and is forecasting more than 80% growth in 2026. The company expects to more than double its Sephora business while maintaining its direct-to-consumer trajectory, bringing projected revenue close to $30 million in 2026.
“Molly’s approachable, yet authoritative voice has been a key driver in building the loyal and engaged community supporting the incredible momentum for YSE Beauty,” said Brian Thorne, Partner at Silas Capital. “Leveraging her insider network of dermatologists, estheticians, and makeup artists, she has curated a lineup of multi-functional skincare-meets-makeup essentials that cater to an underserved Gen X customer that demands results-driven beauty. We’re thrilled to partner with Molly for this next chapter, supporting both the brand’s impressive e-commerce momentum, as well as its quickly scaling wholesale expansion with Sephora.”
