Schwarzkopf Names Lindsay Lohan Its Newest Ambassador

Schwarzkopf has announced Lindsay Lohan as its newest Brand Ambassador, a partnership born from her long-standing relationship with Tracey Cunningham, the celebrity colourist and US Creative Director of Colour & Technique at Schwarzkopf Professional.

“Tracey is more than my colourist — she’s a trusted creative partner,” said Lohan. “Whether I’m in a new movie or walking a red carpet, there’s only one shot to get my hair colour right, and it’s often a really tight turnaround. Tracey is the ultimate collaborator, and I love that she takes the time to explain what products she uses and why. I learned about Schwarzkopf through Tracey because the result is so incredible every time, and it’s now the only brand I trust in the salon.”

This news comes at the height of the Lohanaissance, Lindsay Lohan’s widely celebrated comeback, which has seen her return to our screens looking better than ever. Following three successful Netflix rom-coms, the 39-year-old is set to reunite with Jamie Lee Curtis in the upcoming Freakier Friday — the much-anticipated sequel to the 2003 hit Freaky Friday and her first feature film since 2007. The announcement also follows a recent Elle interview, in which the actress revealed she’s developing her own skincare line, further signalling her return not just to Hollywood, but to the broader world of beauty.

Her new partnership with Schwarzkopf is a natural fit for Lohan, whose blonde transformation, first revealed in March, has quickly become one of the most requested looks in salons. Her new colour, a variation of blonde created by Cunningham and dubbed “Soft Gloss Blonde”, features a sandy-blonde base with vanilla highlights, reminiscent of old Hollywood.

“Lindsay and I have grown together over the years, and it’s always the most fun having her in my chair,” said Cunningham. “To take her lighter, Schwarzkopf Professional’s Igora Vibrance and BlondMe were absolute essentials. These formulas allowed me to lift her hair colour while maintaining its integrity and shine. It’s imperative that I trust the products I’m using on all my clients. There is zero room for error when working with an A-list celebrity or musician undergoing a colour transformation for a film or TV role, a red carpet, or a musical performance.  I know that I can always count on Schwarzkopf Professional products to deliver.”

To achieve Lohan’s new signature colour, Cunningham used Schwarzkopf’s BlondMe Lightener, which is formulated with bonding technology to minimise hair damage when paired with the BlondMe Premium Developer. She also used Igora Vibrance, the brand’s demi-permanent colour line, to give Lohan’s hair its coveted shine.

For those looking to recreate Lohan’s colour at home, Cunningham recommends Schwarzkopf’s Keratin Color in the shade ‘11.0 Hi-Lift Natural Blonde’.

Schwarzkopf’s professional colour range is used exclusively in salons throughout the UK and USA. The brand’s haircare products and at-home hair dyes are available at Boots and Sephora in the UK and CVS and Walmart in the US.
