Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Leaves Rose Inc.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has announced her departure from her role at Rose Inc., the beauty brand she founded in 2018.
This announcement comes less than six months after the brand’s assets were acquired by AA Investments for $2.5 million at auction.
The English model disclosed the news on her personal Instagram, explaining, “Due to significant changes within the business, I’ve made the considered decision to step down from the brand.”
“The brand is now under new ownership,” Huntington-Whiteley added, “and moving forward I am no longer involved or affiliated with its operations, products, or promotional activities.” She continued, “Authenticity and integrity are paramount to me in any business endeavour I embark upon, and therefore, it is time for me to close this chapter and pursue new adventures.”
In August 2023, Rose Inc.’s joint venture partner, Amyris Inc., declared bankruptcy, resulting in the sale of Rose Inc.’s assets to AA Investments at auction.
This news was confirmed by Rose Inc in an Instagram post: “With deep gratitude and undying respect, we especially thank Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for her creativity, passion, and belief that gave birth to Rose Inc. It was a privilege and an honor working with Rosie throughout this beautiful journey.”
Celebrating her instrumental role in Rose Inc, Huntington-Whiteley expressed, “It has been one of my proudest accomplishments to build and grow the Rose Inc community over the years and I’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your support, commitment, and belief.”
