Pinterest Publishes First-Ever Beauty Trend Report

Pinterest has released its first-ever Beauty Trend Report, highlighting the hair, makeup, skincare, fragrance, and nail trends gaining momentum right now. Among the biggest are frosted metallic makeup, statement blush, layered and textured bobs, copper and cherry-cola hair, cosy gourmand scents, and high-shine chrome and cat-eye nails. Body and scalp care are also getting more attention, while beauty routines are leaning further into food-inspired and at-home wellness ideas. The report also shows how people are putting increasingly specific spins on each trend, from dark-red cat-eye nails to French bobs with wispy bangs.

Haus Labs Drops Sun Dipped Bronzing Veil

Lady Gaga’s Haus Labs has a new liquid bronzer, and this one is waterless. Sun Dipped Bronzing Veil is made up of 70% skincare ingredients, including fermented arnica and wakame extract, which the brand says help with hydration and redness while protecting the skin barrier. It’s also claimed to last 12 hours and hold up against sweat, humidity, and transfer. There’s no shimmer, so the finish stays soft rather than sparkly. It comes in 11 shades, each inspired by a real person featured in the brand’s new Warm Tones for Cool People campaign.

Laura Geller Beauty Enters Fragrance

Laura Geller Beauty has launched its first-ever perfume, and it’s basically bottled Italian sunshine. Tuscan Sun Eau de Toilette was inspired by Laura Geller’s trips to Italy, with Italian lemon up top, creamy florals in the middle, and amber and vanilla warming things up at the base. The fragrance took more than a year to develop, with customer feedback helping shape the final scent. It’s available now in full size, travel size, and as a duo at laurageller.com.

Kat Burki Launches Post-Treatment Recovery Cream

Kat Burki’s new Regenesis cream is made for the days after an in-clinic treatment, when skin is red, tight, and generally not at its best. It costs £314 ($410), which is a lot for aftercare, but the brand’s pitch is that it helps protect results from treatments that usually cost far more. The formula leans on ceramides to rebuild the skin barrier and peptides to help with repair, while niacinamide and panthenol take care of the redness. There’s also a postbiotic complex in the mix. Kat Burki recommends it after lasers, peels, microneedling, RF, ultrasound, LED, and PRP facials, though it can be used day to day on reactive skin too.

Isima Lands $5 Million in Financing From JPalmer Collective

Shakira’s haircare brand Isima has secured $5 million as it gears up for its next stage of growth. The brand was created with the diversity of Latin hair textures in mind, and its clinically tested formulas are designed to support hair from root to tip. Its TriModal Method targets the scalp, cortex, and cuticle, with products focused on strength, repair, and hydration. The new financing, from JPalmer Collective, will help Isima scale and get its products in front of more customers.
