Surrenne, London’s new longevity and wellbeing members’ club, is set to open in April 2024.

The luxury wellness club is owned by the Maybourne Hotel Group – whose hotel portfolio includes The Berkeley, The Connaught, and Claridge’s – and will form part of the Group’s new all-suite hotel, The Emory.

Designed by Remi Tessier, Surrenne will take over four floors, boasting almost 21,530 square feet devoted to health and wellness.

Located on the first floor will be a sauna, steam, snow shower, and a 22-metre swimming pool with a built-in sound system for in-water meditation. A spa café will also be situated on the first floor, offering a micronutrient-rich menu designed by nutritionist Rosemary Ferguson.

Surrenne’s state-of-the-art gym will include equipment from Technogym, Woodway, Hydrow, and Peloton. There will also be an intimate multi-functional studio for yoga and Pilates, set against the backdrop of a Japanese Garden, as well as a recovery studio, equipped with massage machines and a soft-cushioned floor. The Club will offer a range of indoor and outdoor fitness classes, as well as wild swimming.

The Surrenne spa will boast a hamman, treatment rooms, and a relaxation area that includes a hyperbaric chamber and cold plunge. The spa’s holistic treatment menu will feature multi-sensory experiences, signature dry and wet body treatments, and signature facials designed by surgeon and skincare expert Dr. Lara Devgan.

The fourth floor will house the U.K.’s first fitness studio dedicated to classes by Tracy Anderson, the American fitness entrepreneur with an impressive celebrity following.

The club’s Longevity Clinic has been developed in partnership with Swiss holistic health experts Virtusan. The team have developed longevity and fitness protocols that focus on both physical training and cognition and can be tailored to the individual.

Access to Surrenne and use of its facilities will be free for guests of The Emory and The Berkeley. For non-guests, annual membership will be available for £10,000 per individual, or £14,000 for a couple residing in the same household, in addition to a £5,000 joining fee. Membership will include access to all facilities; 12 Tracy Anderson classes a year; two hyperbaric sessions; two cold water therapies; four body treatments or facials; and preferential rates on additional spa treatments.

Members can also benefit from a consultation with Surrenne’s resident physician. The comprehensive consultation will include testing protocols for cardiovascular health; hormone balance; sleep and stress; metabolism and blood sugar; recovery and nutrition; cognition and endurance; fitness and hormonal balance; and methylation testing. The full fitness assessment will be followed up by three further sessions.

Surrenne will also provide members with a complimentary laundry service, 12 guest passes, a private invitation to a calendar of member events, and preferential rates on valet parking and the restaurants and bars within Surrenne, The Emory, and The Berkeley.
