This New K-Beauty Brand Thinks Your Hands Deserve Better
If we ran an audit of our bathroom cabinets right now, we’d find an embarrassing number of products dedicated solely to our faces. We double cleanse, exfoliate, and layer multiple skincare formulas with military precision. Yet our hands — the literal tools carrying us through daily life, from typing emails and late-night doomscrolling to gripping hot coffees during the morning commute — are often treated as an afterthought.
Botari is setting out to give hand care more attention. The modern K-beauty brand, founded by Korean-born British designer Molly Park, launches on 25 September with a collection designed around the realities of frequently washed, overused hands. This isn’t about creating another floral lotion to sit passively on a bedside table or at the bottom of your bag. It’s a range focused on quick-absorbing, skincare-inspired formulas.
Our hands are a bit of a blind spot in modern bodycare. Between constant exposure to environmental stress, frequent hand-washing, and everyday friction, they can take a beating. Yet choosing a hand cream often comes down to a formula that smells nice but does little else, or one that nourishes but leaves a film over everything you touch.
Botari’s answer is a trio of hand creams (£26 each) formulated with Korean skincare technology and biotech actives. But the best part? The gel-cream texture is said to dry down in just 30 seconds.
Cica Protect Repair + Defend is designed for over-washed, sensitive, or compromised hands. The formula pairs centella stem cell technology, Heliopure Skin microalgae antioxidant complex, and glucosylrutin with panthenol, jojoba oil, camellia japonica oil, and vitamin E to support the skin barrier. As for scent, yuja citrus is complemented by green and herbal notes.
Noni Renew + Glow promises to smooth texture, restore softness, and add radiance to stressed hands. Noni cell culture complex combines with Samphira Bioactive, a retinol alternative, alongside panthenol, rice bran oil, camellia japonica oil, and vitamin E. Incense, sandalwood, and smoked woods make up its warmer fragrance profile.
Charcoal Reset Detox + Rebalance uses activated bamboo charcoal and a prebiotic complex alongside panthenol, rice bran oil, shea butter, and vitamin E to tackle daily build-up without stripping the skin. Its woody scent comprises mineral and green resin notes.
Botari launches exclusively via botari.co on 25 September, with shipping available within the UK.
