Amika Launches a New Colour-Protecting Haircare Trio
Amika has a new colour-care range out, and it’s basically for anyone trying to get a few more good-hair days out of a fresh dye job. The Protector Colour Protect + Strengthen lineup has three products — shampoo, conditioner, and a leave-in treatment — designed to help stop colour fading so quickly while keeping hair soft, shiny, and stronger. The leave-in also protects against UV, chlorine, copper, and heat up to 232°C (450°F).
Rhea Raj Fronts The Kiss Drip Nail Line
Kiss has tapped singer-songwriter Rhea Raj as the first face of its Drip press-on nail line. The Ulta-exclusive collection is all about statement sets, with chrome finishes, reworked French tips, 3D details, and more. Raj joins as the range gets a refresh too, with each pack now including 32 nails across 14 sizes and up to 14 days of wear.
Shark Beauty Collaborates with Claudia Sulewski
Shark Beauty is giving some of its biggest tools a limited-edition makeover with Claudia Sulewski. The new Celestial Skies collection — exclusively available in the US — reimagines the CryoGlow LED mask, DePuffi, Shark Glam, and SilkiPro Straight in midnight navy and gold, finished with constellation-inspired detailing. The tech itself hasn’t changed, though. This is just a new look. The collection launches online at sharkninja.com on 26 September, with prices from $199.
JVN Hair Expands Into Mousse With a New Curl Formula
JVN Hair has launched a new Curl Defining Mousse that’s designed to do the job of three products in one. The lightweight foam replaces the usual curl cream, gel, and heat protectant combo, and promises soft, defined curls without crunch or flakes, with clinical testing showing curl retention for up to 72 hours. It’s designed for everything from 2A waves to 4C coils and includes chia, linseed, marshmallow root, and hemisqualane. No news has been shared regarding the UK launch date.
&honey Arrives at Ulta Beauty
Japanese haircare brand &honey has landed at Ulta Beauty, with six products now available online and in around 600 stores across the US. The launch covers two of its best-known ranges: Deep Moist for more intensive hydration, and Melty Moist Repair for dry, frizz-prone hair. Each comes with a shampoo, treatment, and hair oil, all built around the brand’s honey-based, moisture-first approach. Every product is priced at $23.
Manucurist Secures Investment From Inflexion
Manucurist has a new backer. Inflexion, the private equity firm that once backed Medik8, has taken a minority stake in the Paris-founded nail brand, with plans to push it further into international markets, the US in particular. The investment will also go towards wider retail distribution and new product development. Manucurist is already stocked in more than 40 countries and has built much of its reputation on Green Flash, its at-home alternative to LED gel manicures.
