Sol de Janeiro Gives Its Cheirosa Mists an Intense Upgrade
Sol de Janeiro is turning up the intensity on its bestselling Cheirosa mists with an Intense Perfume Mist lineup. The new higher-concentration formulas are designed to last for up to 10 hours, with richer versions of Cheirosa 62, 59, and 91, plus a brand-new scent, Cheirosa 74. Cheirosa 62, 59, and 74 launch on 23 August, while Cheirosa 91 follows in September. The newcomer blends ripe pineapple and orange flower with the collection’s solar ambery accord for a warm, golden gourmand feel.
Dcypher Beauty Launches Three New Custom Foundation Finishes
Dcypher Beauty has reworked its custom foundation so the personalisation doesn’t stop at shade. Alongside its AI-powered colour matching, you can now choose between three completely separate formulas — Matte, Natural, and Radiant — depending on how you want your skin to look and feel. Matte is geared towards oil control, Radiant focuses on hydration and luminosity, and Natural is designed for a more balanced, skin-like finish.
Being Frenshe Drops New Matcha Me Scent
Being Frenshe has added a new scent to its bestselling Hair Body Linen Mist and Lip Balm lines. Matcha Me takes inspiration from the Japanese tea ritual, with the brand describing it as quietly energising and designed around focus and flow. Like the rest of Being Frenshe’s fragrance range, it uses the brand’s MoodScience Scent Technology, which is designed to connect scent with mood. Matcha Me is now available exclusively online at target.com.
More Than Nine Arrives With Skincare Made for Motherhood
More Than Nine is a new skincare brand created for pregnancy, postpartum, and the hormonal changes that can follow. Founded by dermatologist and mum of three Dr Aegean Chan, the brand takes a less fear-driven approach to pregnancy-safe skincare, with non-comedogenic formulas and straightforward, multi-use routines. It’s also designed to last beyond the nine-month window, rather than treating motherhood as a temporary skin phase. Read our full story here.
French Beauty Tech Brand Lauvée Paris Lands in the US
Lauvée Paris has landed in the US with a $179 facial cleansing brush that combines cleansing, massage, and gentle facial drainage in one device. The brush uses antibacterial silicone bristles alongside targeted vibration and percussive technology, with the latter inspired by Japanese Kobido massage. It’s designed to follow the contours of the face and deliver a full cleansing session in just 35 seconds, while also helping to prep skin for whatever serums or treatments you apply afterwards.
Gel Nail Ingredient Ban Comes Into Effect in Britain
New rules affecting gel manicures have come into force in Britain, but despite talk of a ‘gel nail ban’, the treatments themselves aren’t going anywhere. The change centres on TPO, an ingredient used to help some gel polishes cure under UV light. From now on, manufacturers can’t introduce new TPO-containing products, while existing stock can continue to be sold until February 2027. Salons can also keep using products they already have after that point. With TPO-free gels already widely available, most regular salon-goers are unlikely to notice much difference — the real change is happening behind the scenes.
