It’s a 10 Haircare’s New Look Arrives at Ulta

Back in April, It’s a 10 Haircare revealed it was getting a 20th-anniversary makeover, with Khloé Kardashian on board as its first celebrity ambassador. Now the new look is finally here. The refreshed packaging is live on ulta.com and rolls out to Ulta Beauty stores across the US from today, with the brand’s own site following in January. As promised, favourites like the Miracle Leave-In are staying the same on the inside. But there’s plenty that’s new, too, including a Miracle Styling Foam, Keratin Hair Mask, and Volumizing Glaze, plus four new collections: Glossing, Curly, Intense Hydration, and Texture.

Nails.Inc Founder Thea Green Steps Away

Thea Green is leaving Nails.Inc, 27 years after opening its first nail bar in London. The former Tatler fashion editor started the business at 23, inspired by the walk-in nail bars she’d seen in New York, and went on to build it into a global brand sold in more than 30 countries through retailers including Boots, Superdrug, and Target. She sold Nails.Inc to US private equity firm Pacific World Corporation for £30 million in late 2024 and has stayed on as chairwoman since. Her exit comes just as the brand prepares to launch Longevity, a creatine-powered polish billed as lasting up to 16 days.

Biodance and Medicube Move Into Selfridges

Biodance and Medicube have unveiled permanent counters at Selfridges London, as part of a new K-beauty destination in the store’s Beauty Workshop. According to the brands’ UK distributor, Luneia Brands, it’s the first permanent counter anywhere for Biodance, and Medicube’s first in Europe. Medicube’s includes a devices bar where you can try its AGE-R tech, while Biodance, best known for its viral Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask, is offering demos and sampling. Both have skincare consultations too, plus launch extras throughout November. Read more about the Biodance counter here.

Ouai and Heaven Mayhem Turn Fragrance Into Jewellery

Ouai has teamed up with Heaven Mayhem on a new way to wear your scent. The two collectible amulet necklaces each feature a vase-shaped pendant that holds a vial of Ouai fragrance, so your perfume sits close to the skin wherever you go. The Rue St. Honoré design pairs a two-tone gold and silver pendant with a delicate chain, inspired by the floral fragrance’s notes of gardenia, violet, and white musk. Ibiza is a bolder black and silver pendant with a dramatic tassel, matching the warm cocoa, vanilla, and rum scent. They’re available now at theouai.com, but only until they sell out.

MDP+ Heads to Nordstrom

MDP+, the US name for Korean derma skincare brand Medipeel, has made its first move into American department stores with a launch at Nordstrom. Its range is online now and rolling out to seven Nordstrom stores, from Seattle to Honolulu, as well as Nordstrom Rack. The standout is the Peptide 9 Bio Sun Stick Pro, an SPF 50+ stick made for easy reapplication over makeup. There’s also a neck care line, including the Collagen Naite Thread Neck Cream, plus peptide and collagen skincare.

Ksecret Lands at Ulta Beauty

Ksecret, the Korean skincare brand behind the viral Seoul 1988 line, is now stocked at Ulta Beauty, online and in more than 500 stores across the US. It has built its name on retinal, a form of vitamin A that works faster than retinol, which makes it a handy option if you’re impatient for results. Its range covers everything from beginner-friendly strengths to more advanced formulas, with the Black Ginseng Wrinkle Smoothing Serum and Fermented Bean Wrinkle Firming Eye Cream leading the lineup. The Ulta launch follows the brand’s Costco debut earlier this year.

Colorescience Taps Ex-CeraVe Boss as CEO

Colorescience has a new CEO, and his résumé includes two of skincare’s biggest names. John Reed, who led CeraVe both before and after L’Oréal bought it and most recently ran Kiehl’s, took the top job at the mineral sun protection brand on 1 November. He replaces Mary Fisher, Colorescience’s CEO since 2013, who now becomes vice chair of the board as part of a planned succession. Fisher will stay focused on the brand’s science and its relationships with the dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and medical spas that recommend and sell its products.
