Dormy House Unveils New House Spa
Dormy House, the hotel & spa retreat in the Cotswolds, has reopened its House Spa after a month-long renovation, revealing a brand-new thermal suite and new treatments from Proverb Skin.
The new multisensory thermal suite will see guests immerse themselves in a unique fire and ice experience. This nature-fuelled healing experience will incorporate an aromatic steam room, a shower with forest mist, and a therapeutic Himalayan Salt Sauna, which helps to boost respiratory health and relieve the effects of stress. The experience culminates with a visit to the spa’s impressive snow shower, where thick snowflakes fall over every part of the body, triggering a cold yet natural stimulus that instils a feeling of deep relaxation. This combination of hot and experiences has been proven to improve skin tone and appearance whilst delivering immense therapeutic benefits to the mind and body.
Alongside the new multisensory thermal suite is a tranquil 16m infinity edged indoor pool lined with loungers. Outside, the Spa Terrace features a bubbling hydrotherapy hot tub and an electric fire for extra warmth during the colder winter months. The Greenhouse provides a selection of soothing drinks, teas, healthy lunches, and snacks.
The reopening of House Spa has also brought a brand-new partnership with Proverb Skin, the British sustainable and organic skincare brand. Products and signature treatments from Proverb Skin will feature on The Spa’s menu of relaxing and rejuvenating therapies, alongside those from existing partner Temple Spa. New treatments will include a 60-minute Proverb Natural Facelift Facial, which combines specialised cardio HIIT with targeted massage techniques, and a 60-minute Rest & Recovery Massage, a sleep-inducing massage to calm the nervous system and soothe muscles.
Dormy House Hotel & Spa is located at the highest point of Farncombe estate, high above the stunning village of Broadway in the Cotswolds.
